Hey guys,

 

We received some feedback requesting that we provide upcoming patch notes ahead of time when possible; so without further ado, here are some of the changes you can look forward to after this week's regularly scheduled maintenance:

 

1. In order to enhance the chatting environment, the battle participants tab will be moved.

1) Awesome

2) Could you put that on the top right somewhere, so that people using FRAPS or other video/screenshot programs can use it? (E.g. I have to use Fraps when I'm using my Mac as I don't have a print screen button).

3) To be honest, its a nice feature, but I would like to see some kind of drawback to using this; As it now detracts from proper planning of your aircraft waves. Maybe losing a certain amount of the planes loaded?

5) To be honest, it still doesn't look great. You can still see where the guns have been "tacked" on, rather than placed properly.

6/7) Nice 

Please keep it up with posts like these, they are awesome.

Some mildly interesting stuff there. Like the ship reordering thing just to get ships that I want to get at faster during HAs.

 

I'm still holding out for a temp fix to torp XP plus stability upgrades. Ever since Italy hit I've been getting hit with CTD more and more frequently and it's starting to get on my nerves.

Great idea providing patch notes, even better with pictures.

 

3) Very nice feature, hopefully entice more CV drivers back

 

4) Awesome, been waiting for this a long time.

I am genuinely surprised to see so many things that have been asked for for SO LONG in one patch...

 

The chat changes and timestamp feature are a good idea but the Ship Order change and plane cancellations are fantastic.  Ship Order has been asked for since Beta, I can only hope that this is a continuing decisions from SDE to invest time into what the PLAYERBASE wants.

 

So far, so good.

I agree, I would say at the very minimum they should not be able to load for the time it would have taken (you gain no time from cancelling but you don't launch planes). Still think it is kind of (and I am exagerating greatly here) having a return shells fired button. That would be useful when; your team ss surfaces after you fired (to stop tk) and when a ship is sunk before your shells reach (improve accuracy). But if it gets more cvs playing then I'm all for it.

Ship move function should have always been in place, and yes it will save time but nothing earth shattering here.

Any update on the important stuff? New HA mode and new game engine?

Wow, if only the Japanese had an Aircraft Cancel button at Midway...

If there was an unloading time that was say... half that of loading, sure.
