Nexon has now officially launched it's North American website, marking the official beginning of the NavyFIELD II American Community! It's been my pleasure to update all of you on the progress of NavyFIELD II's release, and please, if you enjoyed NavyFIELD, give NavyFIELD II a chance, and try it out for yourself.

The NF2 server wqent down about 45 mins into the PET.  Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Auto aim and no manual aim.. crappy ships... Crapshield.. Nexon...server crashes.. among other things.

Yep, not interested anymore.. crap game. Think I'll just ride out Navyfield until it dies and find another WW2 game to play afterwards.

I have to admit I was hoping it would be more close to the current with better graphics, and some minor changes

but so far not too impressed, has no manual, most of the battles are right on top of each other, its like a better graphic blitz mode but with bigger BBs 

seams like a kaotic game with no real stratagy, if this was suppose to replace this game, im sorry to say....it fails badly

I'm guessing PET and BETA are not the same thing? Also will their be a north american version or will it just be EU? Sorry if any of this was answered earlier, I just missed it.

The battle seems to move too fast, so many different things all going on at once.
  Think Harbor Landing while in a Blitz battle. Will take getting used too so should be superior when basics are learned.

Pro  Water surface looks nice, super nice addition
        micro management of your ship
        cool harbor, cranes working etc. very nice addition
       nice screenshots

Cons  getting used to the semi 3d look, semi sluggish due to me trying it on laptop, hopefully desktop performs faster
           planes... one wave of planes flying overhead that are far too big dropping a cluster of hedgehog looking bombs.  Should change them to smaller graphics imho and add more detail or I may just be seeing their shadows, I am still newb

still new maybe it gets better, but I honestly feel that they could have added most of the same things on this game, if it was not for the bad designed engine.

Ship movements are more realistic and it may seem like blitz because everyone on the PET test server is low level and rushing (Europe test server live less than 24 hours).  That would change once the players level up, gain more of a feel for NF2 objectives, have access to better ships, and then more of a strategy would develop.  I had the same misgivings as you but NF2 is starting to grow on me.

kinda sucks to hear that the start is so terrible been following the release of nv2 EU for a while now hmmmm....
