Note: The following has been tested to be a viable resolution until an official client update is readied. Special thanks to Phrozen for this suggestion.

I am deeply sorry for the frustrations experienced over this error,

1. Problem: Data file has corrupted


Solution:

1. Close NF
2. Download the critical .data & mission files from:

https://www.megaupload.com/?d=1HW7M59Z (.rar file, extract to C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD)

OR

https://www.megaupload.com/?d=9CT88IEZ  (.exe file, self-extracting)

**Note: When prompted to replace any files, select YES**

3. Navigate to  C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\ENFUNS Updater\Downloaded\NAVYFIELDUS and delete the file: FDList.
4. Run NF (nothing should download).... PLAY!

Explanation:
After receiving this error and closing NF, the game automatically deletes .data files as well as 20 mission files.  Upon launching NF again, ENFUNS downloads these missing files (but the .data files appear to be corrupt themselves).  Thus players are forced into an endless loop: Run NF, error, update, run NF, error, etc.

When ENFUNS is done downloading, you are left with a good file set, except for those .data files.  Downloading the files (above) and replacing them will leave you with a working NF file set now.

Lastly, deleting the FDList file will prevent ENFUNS from overwriting your files.  Opening this file will list the files that ENFUNS has/will download (specifically the 35 .data and mission files).  Do not miss this step or you’re only putting yourself in another endless loop.


2. Problem: ITFPDITM2.SPR file has been corrupted


Solution:

1. Download the following:

2. Extract to your SPR folder (Ex: C: ProgramFiles\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD\SPR)


*When prompted to overwrite anyfiles, select YES*

3. Navigate to  C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\ENFUNS Updater\Downloaded\NAVYFIELDUS and delete the file: FDList.

3. Problem:  There is missing patch files for the Soviet patch


Solution:
Select YES and relaunch NF.  ENFUNS will automatically download these missing files.  In the event a download is prompted in your browser, disregard it.

Its a file that the game will prompt you to download, you can cancel the download, then restart NF and the files should download via ENFUNS.

Well now the soviet patchfiles are fixed,I installed your provided data files and deleted the FDList file but still nothing.
Also I keep getting the Soviet patch and the ITFPDITM2.SPR file message alternatively.After the ITFPDITM2.SPR file message I delete the FDlist again and after launching it just crashes.I then try to delete theITFPDITM2.SPR file but its not there at all.Thanks for the assistance.

Assuming that you have solved the corrupt data AND the missing patch files error, all that there is to solve is the corrupt .SPR file.

1. Launch NF and make sure you encounter the error: ITFPDITM2.SPR file has been corrupted.
2. Select YES (NF will close)
3. Relaunch NF and let ENFUNS download files
4. Play

If the problem persists, then do the following:

1. Download the sprite:

2. Copy into your NF Sprite folder ( C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD\SPR)
3. Navigate to C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\ENFUNS Updater\Downloaded\NAVYFIELDUS and delete the file: FDList.
4. Launch NF and play.

Well did that too, still nothing :(.The game either crashes immediately or gives me a hacking alert.Ok,now what I did is Uninstall and the reinstall.I have a "virgin" NF file right now.

So how should I proceed from this point onwards?Is it like:
1.Your mission&data files.
2.Soviet patchfile install.
3.Delete FDlist file.
4.Replace ITFPDITM2.SPR file.

Well, assuming that your fresh install is up-to-date, try running NF. What error do you receive?

I ran my "virgin" NF twice after reinstalling,the first time i got the ITFPDITM2.SPR file message and then the second time i got the Data file is corrupted message,which of-course,will throw me into a loop.All this is while the NF files are completely un-changed.

A corrupt ITFPDITM2.SPR file results in Problem #2 (obviously). A missing ITFPDITM2.SPR file results in Problem #3. I'll have to do more testing to see what else can trigger these error messages but for now.... continue reading on:

This may seem a bit tedious but doing the following will eventually get your game running.

1. Do the solution for corrupt data files, that is downloading the files and having them put into your NF directory (don't delete the FDList yet). Don't run NF yet either.
2. As you did in my other post, run the MD5 check. Again, note any errors that show up and post them accordingly.

We'll continue again from there.

Then run the md5 check again. Do NOT run NF.
