Sorry, I just had to....and I liked it.

What determines if a necro'd thread is locked? If its a valid question and turns into a
discussion, it will stay open.

If the posts are just to necro and proclaim NECRO11!!!11 then the thread will just be
locked, and warnings possibly handed out.

there's also another grand old nf forum tradition connected with necro'ing and
locking threads like this .. it's called IBTL ...


although i agree that the search function here is clunky and difficult to use compared
to the search function on some other forums


also the inability to post active link url's within posts and to open such linked
threads in a new window is also a 'problem' for some who may be used to more
functional forum scripts


now ... with that said .. its still a necro ...
