The 8" guns are even worse. They have short range, low damage, bad spread and long reload.
They can at most comparable to 6" guns from other nations.

I switched back to tripe 6.1" guns after I tried level 47 8" gun. With tripe 6.1" guns, at
least I can do both AA and HA, and HA increases the damage (around 300) on deck.

Don't expect much from the 8".
Low range, bad spread at range, bad damage at range and very low ammo supply
make them by far the worst 8" CA guns.

Im really looking forward to lvl 8"s but im stuck with darc guns till i hit lvl 44 or 47
for that matter.

Man, MN is all kinds of messed up. i thought the pluton nightmare was the only frustration
im gonna get, turns out im gonna be stuck with a CA that wields CL3 duals. *sigh* i hope
this is the last nasty surprise im gonna endure.

the lvl 40 tripple 6" are more DP guns i guess, they have very good AA angels/capability.
the lvl 44 are not so good for that job because they only have a very low ngle making it
hard to shoot aircraft above you.

It depends on your gunners, the lvl 47 8's are great; the first set not so much. A lot of guys use the 6.1, and then
the 6's at 44.

Isn't the Suffren supposed to use 8" duals against sea targets? But personally I would
prefer tripples or even quads with AA ammo.

Omg that was some fail post. I apologize for that, what im trying to say is, the
recommended guns for suffren sucks hard compared to ones jeanne the arc used. Im terribly
sorry for that post XD

I believe "anne darc" refers to Jeanne D'Arc. Lol.

Mhh... never noticed that... maybe because I mainly use the trip 6"/6.1" for AA... while
we're at it: Hows the damage of the level 60 6.1" trips?

They are a bit lighter and lake less space than the level 44 tripples, but are they the
same except for weight?
