  • AA Angle indicator improvement

The USN AA indicator is very obtrusive and clutters the screen.

How about something like this?

Having it available for all nation AA would be nice, though, but that's not what this is
entirely about

Any CV that complain about their planes getting shot down too easily are probably
flying them in a straight line at default height.

Try hitting planes swirling above you, there's not enough time to look back and forth
between the angle indicator down below and the rapidly changing angles that are
needed to fire on planes above you.

Learn your angles all you want, half the trouble in these situations is even knowing
what angle you're at and finding the planes are somewhere else after you blink.

Well, that's the point, the huge long red dotted lines are annoying, and you're better off
trying to visualize the angle of the AA yourself.

Really most of the best aa players in the game do not use this. I use aa quite effectively
and if i were to use US as my aa which i don't i think the red lines are quite annoying.

I have, and there's ways to avoid getting them killed.

Flying your bombers or fighters straight at default height within a ships effective zone is
just asking to be food, and competent CV captains know how to make their planes very
difficult to shoot down.

making AA even better with the fire speed some ships achieve is just stupid.....and you
wonder why there are no CV.

weylin play as CV few games and you will see what hell can be, every ship from dd to BB
spam AA at your planes.

Nope, migranes are for upper class folk... NF is decidedly lower class...

try just having a headache instead.

Nevermind, I fixed it.

All I suggest is something a little more subtle and needing less looking all over the
screen?

Usually games try and put all especially important information around the center of the
screen or point of interest

I guess NF wants me to get a migrane

I agree, fix the forums before fixing the USN AA indicator.

Most free forum software is better than what this is.

OT: I'd like to see it.. I use Moltke for AA, not USN, but I agree that the display
showing the angles is pretty crappy.
