One suggestion from me - for all cv, especially high lvl, you must include dd1 finding fcs
and have a sonarman, hh and gunners on board. And max out bulge, within reason.
150 does fine. Why dd1 finding you ask? it gives the max detection range for ss. Of all.

You will NEVER be sunk by an ss. In soviet russia cv eat you.
