Here's a reply:
First, the guide contains some typos. This originated when I wrote it in word processor and copied it in here. To be specific, the " sign (or something like that) was replaced by questionmark. I would not go into fixing it because whole structure would break.
Second, I like some of you like this.
Third, to the part of reporta and humping: This is connected to NFEU and one of their game rules: it says you can't hump a ship that has no emplacements for guns. The problem is a low level CV can't get those guns but here we are all being forced to play all together with a variety of ships that can't be standing against eachother due to the game concept. It is rather obvious that Efusion (they run NFEU) fails even more than SDE running NFNA (and even more at their tank game).
Because the game doesn't have the playerbase to use concept of battles of ship of the same class, everyone if being forced to play with everyone because everyone goes where the most XP is (you get more than double XP for same attack in GB than you would get in BB room, not to mention the difficulty of scoring the attack in BB room). Yet the concept of everyone playing with everyone was working only for the first 4-5 months of beta while people in BB's didn't achieve certain level of crew ability and were simply unable to shoot everyone at max range.
Since SDE employees haven't realized this in 5 years and suggestions such as ability capped battles that would cap the performance of every sailor and enable the low level people to play with high level people in normal rooms without the problem of facing their crew's suckiness were happily ignored (or they don't know how), everyone has to play with everyone. How come no zoo puts lions, tigers and jaguars in one cage. The reasons are obvious.
I also wrote that because one of the last times I was among the participants of noobkrieg running in County and alone gunning down 5 CA's, I was called a noob because I didn't go to point-blank fictory with them. There is no reason to believe these people will change when they get to the GB and game chat occasionally provides some entertainment regarding the humping matter.
Forth, about the prioritizing of enemy ships: While it is good to destroy ships that would scout you, the DD in described case cannot be sunk because it is too far, it is running away and can get out of the torpedo range. The SS cannot do anything about it. The only hope of survival is to destroy the BB.
Fifth, about the lack of attention: Nobody nuked the less usefull stickied guide. Watch me to post explosive content in GD regarding the Sink the beast. I bet it won't stay there for an hour.
