AW Penny 3 gun = 300k attack.

Penn with 2 guns = fail.

Then...maybe Mississippi or NM45 are the best victim of armor, no complaint?

Please for the love of god DO NOT ARMOR A PENNY REMOD. The thing is meant to go fast and
dance around other peoples shells.

You can put 9" deck armor on Pen43/NM45/Mississippi, if you put off rear R guns.
It works rather well, since most of the ppl never think US BB2s are AWable.
I dunno about the spec of US armor, but I think it works well against 40deg 16" guns.

But since the cheap fire power, all you can do is screw up enemy, and kill steal.

I haven`t tested Ten45, and Colorado is unable to do AW.

With some us BB123 you can armor effectively against 8" shells (aside perhaps from high
angle Counties) and US 14" (all sets). If you can bounce substantially more types in-tier
shells (questionable, especially other US and IJN gunsets), there may be some (limited)
value in BB123 rooms. In a GB environment, you're defined to a greater extent by your
ability to deal with BB456. There, speed (and AA) will help you much more. Both will
also prove useful against those BB123s.

US ships are the middle ground nation.. That said I would never put anything but
bulge on and keep the speed advantage. Gotta get into range to hit anything and
then get back out. US navy in NF = Ninja style.

There is only a few ships you can effectly armor whore in US. Most of which are blitz ships.

You can belt whore the Omaha at level with 15" of belt

Pensacola can also get 15" of belt when using 3" 70s on T slots and at level crew.

New Orleans can belt whore, or speed whore.

If you know how. You can Armor whore the monty. (2 Front Guns, lower HP engine) Though I
suggest not.

Edit: You can put 10" of deck on the Nebraska and do 34 knots. Still don't suggest it.

Be forewarned though, US is not an armor nation in NF

Well you dont have the range of the big bb, and if you armour you also too slow too get in
range of the big bb. In addition the big bb dont care about your armour.

In the end it all depends on what you want to do. If you want to be a free xp dispenser,
go for it. If not, better dont.
