Stop adding content and fix the current problems

Remenents	I have saw this in posts all over the forums and thought I would add it here as well. Please, stop adding content and fix the overwhelming issues NF already has. I can think of tons of bugs and glitches that have plagued NF since its launch, and still nothing has been done about them. Instead, more and more content is added... and most of the time, the content hasnt been tested properly. For example, take the SN nation that was added. The sprites have all kinds of issues and all SDE does is give us a way to manually patch to fix it or tells us to uninstall and reinstall the game. I say, to hell with that. SDE caused these issues with piss poor testing and coding, I say they need to fix it in the patch. As to uninstalling the game, if I do this, I damn sure will not reinstall it... at least not until all the problems are fixed or at least ADDRESSED by a REAL SDE person, not some forum mod or the like. If anyone knows any bugs, just post them here and a bit of information on it and then reccomend this thread... though I fear anything will ever be done about it... I will start: Zoom Bug: This bug has been around since its launch. There are different ways this bug can come about, but the way I usually see it happen is minimizing the game during its loading. - FIXED - SN Gun Sprites: This glitch shows some of the SN ships with no guns, when in fact they have weapons. I for one have tried this "manual fix" with no effect whatsoever. Reinstalling the game is just a stupid way to fix a problem that can be solved with a simple patch. - FIXED - Lagginess: Many will agree this is caused from Hackshield, and I will agree. If we must deal with Hackshield in order to play, thats fine, but at least fix it so it isnt SO laggy and people crash left and right. Battleroom Bugs: I have noticed, as of lately, many rooms get bugged. There max players they can have is 64, but they will have 65 or 66 players, effectively bugging the room and not allowing the host to split and go. This, I belive, is just MORE poor coding and should be an easy fix. Post all the bugs you know of and what they do and try not to post duplicate bugs unless you have more information on a particular one. Thanks all. Eradicator1	The problem is that NF is not meant for the casual gamer as the grind length will attest to. NF caters to a very very VERY small playerbase because the grind is so long. SDE will alienate what fanbase it has which pays large amounts of money, and has invested thousands of hours and for a few players here, thousands of dollars for a more casual crowd by removing what has been invested in NF1. Those who enjoy the luxury of having high level ships for fun when the grind gets bored will leave, and that is nearly everyone here.

koala44202	Think about that one game series. I won't say it because it's illegal here, but its abbreviation is the name of a fish. They came out with 6 one year, then released 7 just about a year later. This game is VERY old, and think of the people that spent 60+ dollars on those games only to have a new one released. I just played game 6 of the series mentioned a while ago, and there were 4000 people on. When 7 wasn't out, that was in the hundred thousands. People like new games most of the time.

Lionel2	I completely agree on what the guy above me said. Imagine if one day you woke up and there was a NF3. Suddenly there would be no more new people coming in, they'd all go to the new game. Slowly, over time, the old players would stop. Then all the work you did to get that Nebraska means nothing as you can't play it. Start all over at NF3. Yep, I agree, just keep on adding content over time to this game is the way to go. I'm not really in the mood to start grinding a bunch of ship lines all over again.

Eradicator1	Newer versions of games are popular because they have very old fanbases that have reached a cap on what the original game provided. We are nowhere near that, not a single person could have possible maxed out on NF because the grind is so long and the sheer number of shiplines is daunting. That is why NF3D isn't such a good idea, SDE should just focus on making updates as you go along.

Lionel2	Sorry guys, not a fan of the new NF. Means all the money and time I just spent here was all for nothing. This game would end.

koala44202	I think they just need to release NF2/NF3D. Why? Because the original devs quit and the ones that are here now are still learning the code. If these devs released a version where they knew the code, imagine where life would be.

Remenents	@ Claw LOL. Nuff said. @ koala and Lionel2 Thanks for the support and input. There are many bugs that have been around forever. Just need more people to recc this and mention why or why not so SDE can see that we want them fixed.

koala44202	No no no no he said he hates FB. He's on myspace I bet. But I just somewhat don't get the issues. I never had the gun sprite issue and I've only seen the battleroom glitch once. I blame windows 7 and Vista. XP for me works like a dream compared to others.
