Since I BO Resetted to NC line (A few months ago) I had a few new toys to test out.
I put on my BB3/4 support on this thing, ran 900 SD, and 4.4" deck. I would
occasionally bounce KM 11"s.... Only downside with NO is that I can't put all 3 guns
on it, because my crew is fat, and I want over 4" of deck.

Still, an awesome ship. NO > Balt.

BALTI:

- Got the best US CA gun range
- Good AA Batteries
- Decent Armor

NO:

- Secon Best Range after balti
- Bad AA Batteries
- The Best Armor in whole US CAs

........ well........... although my spread isnt amazing i feel that going faster than 40
knots is a must ( must be becuase i usually play KM) and i detest armour....... so going
slower than 40 knots with no firepower seems odd and foreign........... but yeah blitz
turns everyone into rushin noobs..... i was so caught up that i was playing like
them........ luckily i played a few BB1-5 no PBB to straighten myself out...

Yeah anon, of course it depends on the situation.

I take for granted that people understand exactly what i mean, so my apologies for
not being clear.

an: read before you reply :)

I was talking about rushing BBs, too bad you can't range them with normal CAs. :D

true, but is it smart to rush it when it is surrounded by a group of CLs and DDs with
torps? with 5" of deck, i really doubt that you can fit on enough bulge and belt to defend
against that while taking down the county/surrey. also please notice how i said "in
general", meaning that there are some circumstances where rushing is a more favorable
tactic, like HAing surreys/counties, but most of the time doing that is just plain stupid.

Yep LK, unfortunately everyone plays Blitz, so that doesnt matter.

NO ftw.

MM, and actually NO is quite good at rushing...it just depends on how far in you plan
on rushing. The only way to keep a county/surrey from penetrating your deck is to
rush it.
