head?! you dont rush with a CA. you play range. and NO isnt really meant for rushing
unless speed whored and equipped with the RFs. NO in general is for AWing and sticking to
the max range.

Yeah Balti can aa, but NO is smaller so it can rush. Too bad it don't have nuke shells
like york has, but with good driver an NO can still be a terror for noob BBs.

Bouncing CL and CA shells in the NO can be pretty fun, but if you play in actual fleet
engagements (as in, non-Blitz rooms with BBs), that 5" of deck won't do you any good
against BB shells. The Balti has AA that can actually do something about those scouts
circling you, and can even take down bombers without much in the way of trouble. The
Balti's extra range isn't quite so helpful IMO, since the reload time for the Mk 14's
sorta nullifies that advantage for at-level players. Still, the Balti is a far better
support ship than the NO, which makes it a better fleet asset than the NO.

OK given the stats are very similar, the Portland sucks because it's a "bigger"
target? I went Portland, more FCS space was the only reason. The DP difference
was maybe half a DD salvo didn't even consider it. And to be quite honest the NO
looks like a carnival ride gone mad.

Not too mention the BB's after the Portland are just dead sexeh!!!

I would suggest the New Orleans with armor if you dont BS, without if you do.

My NO goes 49 knots without armor(if I remember correctly), but back in the day
when i was only 3 White Bar I used the DD3 engine and as much deck as I could fit.
It worked quite well.

the NO is better than the balt......and i jsut got my NO....... but i say the speed setu
is better beucase i found when armour whoring that i get APd to death rapidly........
and going 52 knots is crazy..... faster than my PE with my engineers on it >.<

And the NH line BBs can be pretty good, but you still have to play through the Suckvada,
and the NC tends to have a glass jaw...
