When you overheat you have to wait your overheat time to start overheating again
for the full time.

I notice myself holding the F key forever sometimes in the heat of battle.

So suggestion:

Once over heat is over kill the F key so even though its being depressed it doesnt
register in game.

Other suggestion:

Include a light or fill bar (4 colors red, oragne, yellow, green) saying that your
overheat is back at full potential.

No colors - empty
Red - 25% of overheat is back - you'll overheat 25% of your overheat time
Orange - 50% of overheat is back - you'll overheat 50% of your overheat time
Yellow - 75% of overheat is back - you'll overheat 75% of your overheat time
Green - 100% of overheat is back - you'll overheat 100% of your overheat time

EDIT**

Edit****

Or even just a green light similar to that of landing forces just showing that your
overheat is back at 100%.

I'd like to put in my support for this idea as well. It would make use of the overheat
system much easier, obviously...

This would definetely help. I think a more accurate bar that fills 1 pixel at a time
would be better though, perhaps with some markers at the 25% 50% 75% spots.
Like this:

Either way, recommending this post.

Oh and the bar should go down while using overheat. Or in bootleg's case turn from
green to yellow to orange to red progressively as you use up your overheat time.

The Dev's don't read it but the mods do and send what we have to the Dev's

"One of the better ideas brought up in a while. But not deserving of a patch solely for it."

I take that back... now, any one improvement would be better than the contents of the last
7 patches. (except maybe the one that fixed grammar and a little bit of UK's advantage
over other nations)

Do the Devs read this, or do we just tell ourselves tales, what we think is good?

what the heck is wrong with the devs...taking out spaces...that was one of the most
useless patches ever. i swear....im feeling very pessimistic now seeing that the devs do
the stupidest things when we suggest things that would totally help improve the game and
such. is their ass stuck on making money or something?!

>> One of the better ideas brought up in a while. But not deserving of a patch solely for it.

Remembering the last few patches including the "hey let's remove their shipname spaces
because they are a major security threat" one, I think this would be a good patch.
Anything that doesn't actually _make_the_game_worse_ as has been the case with some recent
patches, is a good patch.

I do agree that there would be many more important issues to deal with (and very easy for
even a 12-year old "developer" to implement such as removing the bloody BB4 guns from BB3s
and BB5 guns from BB4s (provided he knows which file(s) contains the gunspace data).

Anyway this is a useful and original suggestion. Recommended. (Although I very much doubt
that the skill level of the current developer team is high enough to make such drastic
changes to the game interface).
