Im almost level 43 and i have a few questions about how much Armour i should put on a County.

1. How much Belt and Deck Armour should i put on my County?

2. What shells could bounce the recommended amount of Armour?

AP=instant win!
Try HAW in your county, it works better

blackshot lol

just a reminder, if you dare to AW a county with the trip 6'', be aware that even a Z99
with AP will be able to own you. but then again, ppl in blitz arent that skiled anymore...

Replying properly.
I agree that the county lacks the ability to armour properly, but heres what I did when I
wanted to armour whore;

6'' Trips (Dont flame, tis called blackshot)
1. 7'' belt, rest bulge
2. Everything CL and below, plus your own 6'' trips. Make sure you use AP with your
County, else you are going to die by your own sword.

8'' Duals (HA, gave me 172k attack once lol)
1. 0.3'' belt/100bulge/rest deck
2. Torpedoes. Your armour is being really really far away from enemies and killing them b4
they get near you, or one shot'ing them if they get close.

1. (Assuming GB support, or wanting to be a real capital ship in Blitz) 0" deck, 0.2" belt.

2. N/A.

For Blitz you want to do a lot of running and High Angling with the dual 8" L. (Shells
that miss you by any substantial amount do 0 damage, and ones that barely miss still do
rather little.) For GB, you're probably running running AA support (RP 10 L or the like
on the R-slots), so speed is more to keep up with BBs/get into a good position to eat
planes. That said, I could see an argument for running lots of bulge in a GB...

Put 0.2/0.3" of belt on to halve torpedo damage. After that, either put on as much
deck as will fit or just run without any deck. I wouldn't armour it myself, but I believe
you can bounce most CA shells with maximum deck. The 8" duals are by far the best
County guns, but if you're a noob and use 6" triples, you might as well put on as
much belt as you can.
