In the test server, suggestions are being made to adjust the ships that have been in use
for years. Things that I have seen include making it so that all nations except the UK
can't carry as much armor, shortening ranges, speeds, damages and so on. I strongly
disagree. I think that if people have been playing for years to level their crew and they
do so based on the data at trainworld or in the shipyard section of this website to
suddenly change the ships and their L120 crews would be wrong. People have spent money,
time, and effort into planning and building their crews. To suddenly change it all
wouldn't be right, especially because the game mechanics does not allow sailors to change
nations.

So, for example, if you have a USN crew and you level up a bunch of reps to L120 to go AW
on a Nebraska, then suddenly you find that the armor is nerfed to the point where a BB3/4
in another nation with reps is better, you would be angry. Well that is where I am at
right now. The point isn't if you agree that you can AW a USN BB6. It could just as easily
be any ship or any other type of crew.

My suggestion is that once SDE puts a ship into play, its done. The ship is the ship and
you play the game with it. The test server should have been used to test MN and SN ships
before they ever saw the first day in the game. The USN, IJN, UK, and KM ships have been
around for a long time and its not fair to the people that worked to get them to suddenly
change them. "Balancing" as I'm quite sick of hearing, shouldn't meant that something
exisiting is changed. It should mean that something new is made to work in an existing
system. Fooling around with ships will make more people angry and leave then convincing
new ones to join.

I recc for this thread means that you like your ships the way they are (USN, IJN, UK, KM)
and you don't want them nerfed. Once ships are in play they are done.

Yes, ships are being sunked and we have been playing with them, but they are still not
balanced. A BB1 can sink a BB6, that doesn't make them equal or balanced.

The fact that every BB6 when AW can bounce the shells of QV and Kaiser at max angle
is just wrong. You don't see the same happening from DD to BB4... every ship there is
vulnerable to some and strong against others in their same tier, some BB6 are
vulnerable to all and strong against none.

RECC I WANT MY MN TO STAY OVERPOWERED OR I AM CHEATED BY SDE

btw how have you been here for years and only gotten to 87?

Get to the 120 tier and you will see how broken it is

SDE has been reluctant in the past to allow changes to be made. Submarines for example
still have the same stats as the uncapped NFKR servers.

You guys have all been here for years. How can it be that after 7 years of playing
this game the four main countries have not been "balanced" ?

I have indeed been over to the test server and I have been reading the suggestions
over there for quite some time. It wasn't until I began to realize what some of the
changes are that I decided to say something.

Also, I keep reading that this is useless or that is useless... how can that be? After
all, we are playing all the time. The ships are indeed being sunk, so it can't be that
bad, can it?

Won't tinkering with the problem and tweaking just make it worse and create more
problems?

Most of the times there is a deadline for release and balance takes longer than that.
If we waited for everything to be in perfect balance before releasing, we would never
see new ships. Also, some of the ships might seem balanced in the Test Server, but
people only know for sure once it's released and people start using them.

The only way to get a great balance is by working both on the test server and live
servers, because there people can test if the ship works the way is intended to.

Some of the ships we have had for years are definitely not perfect and need work,
just to give one example we have the H44 with it's shell issue. You say don't fix that?
It needs fixing.

We have had BB6s for a while now... but they are also not perfect. The fact that most
AW BB6s bounce other BB6 shells at max angle is wrong and turns those BB6
useless. That has also turned HAs into a slow game where we only see 2 types of
BB6 playing because the others are useless at max angle.

This BB6 change is needed to bring back some of the national traits to BB6 and to
revive the "useless" BB6s. Also, there is hope the change will speed up HAs.

I invite you to use the Test Server Forum to voice your concerns and to propose
other ideas for a fix. But saying that once a ship goes to the live server it should stay
that way is impossible... it won't ever happen because that live server experience is
needed to finish the balance.

Fighters need balance
H44 needs balance
lvl 110 guns need rework
some SN/MN ships need balance
SN submergence needs to be balanced
Kaiser low armor penetration need to be ajusted

so NO, some ships NEEDS to be ajusted, including some BB6 able to AW when the nations its
not supossed to
KM players already have a dificult gameplay, seeing their BB6 shells bouncing QVs, Nebbys,
Charlies and other Kaisers is not right

Buff my ship much?

You shouldnt comment on things you dont understand Lionel... DD-BB4 and CVs for the
original nations have all been balanced by ONF. BB5s and BB6s are mostly untouched at this
point and have been imbalanced for a long time.

not rec.

ur suggestion means there is no more a chance to balance a totally inbalanced ship.
it happens a lot that a ship seems to be fine in some battles on test-server, buts
bad and unplayable in a GB room.

and just btw..they dont care for sugegstion..only 0.0001%
