  • CV line more worthwhile or TW line?

Which line is more worthwhile in the long run? I mean cash return and exp to time consumption. Currently i'm using my tw to lvl get rookie pilots.. So... Pls give me some advice..

Yah, then when you actually use the CV you'd realize just how shitty your pilots are. No, really, they're crap. My lvl 40 fighters can probably rape your lvl 50 DBs if you just converted them from neuts or even if you converted them at the right lvls. Why? You lack experts.

I went TW first and now I'm working on a CV crew. It's a lot easier to level up pilots and a BO with a TW rather than having to use the Aki-Kai.

i believe the CV line is more wirthwile because it doesnt destroy your gunners and you will have access to CVs throughout the entire game (unlike tws which stop at kitakame)

CV line isn't hard to gain exp now with ConOp. So don't worry. I just stick my BO and gunners in a DD and let them ConOp a few days and I've jumped a good number of levels

BO need at least 14 pot and at least 10+ in repair/restore/engine if possible.

BO need high potential, good repair & restore. One of mines is +15/+12/+11 (one in a million) :))

All lines have advantages and disadvantages.

TW line:

+fast to lvlup sailors,good money,Shimakaze,Kitakami,M1/M3 torps
-after Kita (out of stock for months) there is no more ships,Tatsuda

GUN line:
+Aki,Aki-Kai,Tsukikei (!!!),Mogami,and two Yamatos at the end.
-IJN is very undergunned (few construction doesn't exist here - triple 12.2",14.2",20.1", double 16"/50 - USN for example made only prototype of 18" and here USN have triple 18", just silly), 8" guns are flawed E version should be /50, and F should be /70, but both are only /40, lowered range (compared to all other nations) to majority of guns,lack of CAs (IJN had the most deadliest CA class, but Atago is not here),shitttttty armour, one of the best AA gun of WWII [3.9"] is here one of the worst and its very large & bulky, IJN ships do not have too many T slots so AA defense is crapy, and of course no AA shells for 8",12.2",18.1" and 20.1".

CV line:
+carriers @ low lvls., very good money.
-exp gain is poor, not too much space for AA/DP guns,shittttty armour, good carriers are far away (Junyo route)

All together: Gun line

Gun because at certain level is the only logical choice. Just remember dont rush into battle outrange what you can. If you like close combat IJN isnt to good. Qs,Somers,Z99,Ls,DDXs are better ships. For Aki-Tsukikei I recommend twin 5.5" N with HE light. You can even outrange some of CLs. Later, depend of your gunners.

u use ur tw crew for lvlin stuff and use he cv for makin lots of credits

But brits still lack of on torp....

Tell you something abt jap...i torp as much as other people. Its so awsome to get a kill in a few torp but sometimes have to pay the price. anyway depends on you whcih line you really interested on. BB or CV?? torp die in the mid level ship but easy to gain exp. The choice is up to you. If you go to akisuki line you still enjoy torping but not as much as simakaze & so on. CV at Lvl 33 remodel frm agano. The earliest CV in the game is Jap. Tell me if i'm wrong. Thanks
