TW line deadends at kitakami, which kills masses of ships but is entirely owned by battleships. TW ships of all kinds are widely hated and banned on sight, making it even more of a deadend line.
CV's always can play in All Welcome games, but as a trade-off level extremely slow.
japanese gunline temporarily deadends after mogami, depending on who you ask. kongo is generally accepted as a bad ship, there is more debate about the remaining ships.
last, but not least (can't help it :-P), brits are overpowered in most aspects.
