Copypasta of my idea from the other post about HA missions.
Though I believe the idea needs to be more thought out a HA mission is something that is needed.
Maybe eliminate any reward for beating it and making it somewhat easy to win so it isn't abused.
It should be set so it can only be won by APA or Airlift (no bombing or shelling harbour).
Have mines in the Harbour for practice removing them while under fire from the enemy.
NO LEVEL OR CLASS RESTRICTIONS! Allow any level sailor or class of ship to enter.
Number of participants should be capped at 14 to allow for 8 - 10 attackers and 4 - 6 APA/Airlift forces.
Instead of a time limit maybe there should be a stopwatch so a fleet can prepare and practice for the real thing.
There should be three difficulty levels.
One where 6 - 10 (not including APA/Airlift) lvl 40 - 50 players could win with a little teamwork (maybe defended by 1 SS1, 3 DD, 2 CL, 2 CA, 2 CV1 all with at level crew/pilots).
One where it would require 6 - 10 (not including APA/Airlift) lvl 60 - 80 players working well together to win (maybe defended by 1 BB2, 2 BB1, 3 CA, 3 AA CL, 3 DD, 3 SS1, 2 CV2 all with up to level 70 crew/pilots).
One where it would require 8 - 10 (not including APA/Airlift) lvl 100+ players to stand a chance at winning (maybe defended by 1 BB5, 2 BB4, 3 BB3, 3 CA, 3 AA CL, 4 DD, 3 SS2, 3 CV4 all with up to level 90 crew/pilots).
With it set up like this a group of 14 level 40 players could enter the easiest one and stand a chance at winning or a group of 5 lvl 70 could run the same mission if they didn't have enough people to do the second hardest mission.
Even if you don't like exactly how I described it you would at least have to agree a HA mission would be beneficial and needs to be implemented.
