THE ROARING 20s - MORE BB 1-4 CHOICES

-------------------------------
-------------------------------

The actual post is quite long, so in the interest of not having it fill up the top of
every single page of this thread I'm using this one as a placeholder.

For reference, these are the current possible paths that a player can take from BB1 to BB4:

IJN:

Kongo -> Fuso -> Nagato -> Yamato
OR
Kongo -> Ise (1937) -> Ise (1943) -> Nagato -> Yamato

KM:

Scharnhorst -> Gneisenau -> Bismarck -> H39 Class
OR
P Project II -> O Project -> O Project II -> H39 Class

RN:

Renown -> Repulse -> Nelson -> Vanguard
OR
Renown -> Repulse -> Nelson -> Lion
OR
Renown -> Repulse -> Hood -> Vanguard
OR
Renown -> Repulse -> Hood -> Lion
OR
Revenge -> Queen Elizabeth -> King George V -> Prince of Wales -> Vanguard
OR
Revenge -> Queen Elizabeth -> King George V -> Prince of Wales -> Lion

USN:

Alaska -> Guam -> New Mexico (1930) -> New Mexico (1945) -> South Dakota -> Iowa
OR
Alaska -> Guam -> Colorado -> South Dakota -> Iowa
OR
Nevada -> Pennsylvania (1930) -> Pennsylvania (1943) -> North Carolina -> Iowa
OR
Nevada -> Tennessee (1941) -> Tennessee (1945) -> North Carolina -> Iowa

MN:

Bretagne -> Lorraine -> Normandie -> Stras Bourg -> Richelieu
OR
Courbet -> Paris -> Lyon -> Stras Bourg -> Richelieu

This makes me think of my idea that i have never suggested because i was afraid that it
would get flamed. Remodels of ship class that have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Like let's say the Yamato class. Give the Yamato its AA, while you give the Musashi,
which would be a remod of Yamato, a better FCS for at-level acc issues, or maybe a faster
speed. Either way, the options are endless for creating variety. I really like this
idea, Recc'd

Much as I would like to see all this implemented, I sadly must say it will not. (Not
because your idea is flawed, but cause I doubt the devs can do it :P) However, I
would REALLY love to see World War 1 ships in this game.

Well, for the stack, I saw a few things that had the one jumbo stack, and thought that be
cool, as for the mast, I compleatlly missed that, i'll see what I can do.

Thanks :)

The Lexingtons' final configuration, as laid down, had two funnels and cage masts, as can
be seen here (scroll down to where the pictures are):

http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/usnshtp/bb/cc1.htm

It's probable that the cage masts would have been replaced by tripods at some point in the
interwar years if they had been completed as designed, but I doubt the funnel arrangement
would have been altered.

Looks good aside from that!
