@ljsevern

There is no official post of the HUD I have. I made it myself(more like copy advanced hud
into the old). But here's a couple of links to download it:

"Oh, and LJ, nice attempt at a dig, but I don't send nearly as many support tickets against
normal players as you, and your fleet mates, try to say I do. Nice try, but fail."

Lol.

"It's done by only editing two pics from one SPR file. Work for about 5-10 minutes
if you know your stuff. =) "

But you gotta remember Hitumi, 5-10 minutes of work in the normal world is about 2-3
months of work in the SDE world. So expect it to be implemented by the end of the summer ;-)

Oh, and LJ, nice attempt at a dig, but I don't send nearly as many support tickets against
normal players as you, and your fleet mates, try to say I do. Nice try, but fail.

Thanks Vick; Should be pretty simple to implement, if the permission from the creator
obtained.

The HUD grid issue was raised to the GMs and Devs a couple of months back to see if it
could become SDE provided. I will see if I can get an update, but will probably not be
before next week now.

"@ Lj, my modified HUD works fine, if they are checking it then they fail to detect mine - i
have previously sent
support tickets along with the rest of TBNF and have been adviseed that it is acceptable.
And also, in regard to the guidlinez, it is a repeating set of dots.
You cannot edit in angles by changing the dots sprite. You must change the code itself.
What u describe is from the code itself, from the settings on the test phase as far as I can
remember from it. I've
looked in the SPR file , I have seen the dots, btw, both the green and the red.

Edit - MAC FORMATTING FAIL"

Mind posting the screenshot of the support ticket. And also, you was missing the point.
You can put an overlay on the screen, so that when you press G, it shows the correct
angles. We had a range test overlay to do that for testing.

You can't deny that some of these HUD's give people a performance advantage; Albeit
small.

@codyfagerman

I am not trying to get anyone banned. I am looking for confirmation that it is legal, and I
am trying to get SDE to actually implement some of these cool ideas for EVERYONE.
Please learn to read. I am not trolling or "hate messaging".

If your entire argument is that I am trolling, I suggest you learn the meaning of the word.

I actually think Sylver's HUD should be implemented as a change, it is fantastic.

Sriously guys, you should remember the old tbnf discussions we had, most of the modifications we make are ok.
It's just the smoke bomb and clouds and plane that we aren't allowed to play with.
@ Cody, yes thank you, I've only been spiriting since the beginning...
I'll see if I can dig up the old support tickets from the TBNF server that support the case for modified
Huds, I remember there being a rational discussion without Lj trolling. I've put in another one for further clarification
so I can post it in the NGP area later.

Wow all this from one little screenshot.

What does the additional patch for 1.316 have to do with changing the interface? It states
that it is lightening the filter so more sprites can be edited; or at least that is what I
am reading, and when you relaunch the game it will change the filter back to its normal
settings.

And for all those people out there that worry about people getting an unfair advantage by
changing sprites. Not all sprites can be changed, there are a variety of sprites that if
you change, you will get either an access denied message or a re-patch at login. SDE has
designed their sprite filter to catch all edited sprites that they believe will give
someone an unfair advantage.

""Some of the HUDS are nice. But they would have to be approved by SDE, and available to
all within the client. I've just asked if they have been approved by SDE, I welcome
someone to post a screenshot of a support ticket, or SDE themselves to announce it.""

-All sprites are uploaded to http://s15.zetaboards.com/NGP/index/ so they are available
to the community. Only reason I haven't uploaded mine yet, is i'm waiting for someone to
approve my registration. And these HUD;s have been around for a long time; mods, gms, and
almost all players have seen or heard of them before. Only thing I did was add the
overheat bar, so it isn't underneath the interface. So you can stop trying to get people
to send in tickets to get me banned lj, and myself and the rest of the NF community would
appreciate it if you take your trolling and hate messaging to someone who cares. Its
people like you that ruin a fun filled atmosphere.

And yes you are right requiem, the guideline dots are a sprite file that is repatched at
login, and there is no way to tell the 5 angle dot from the 45 angle dot. its the same dot
for all angles; so no way to change em, unless you wanted a different color, which is what
i was trying to do.
