"The police are the public and the public are the police." -Robert Peel

Moderators as being as analogy to the police of the game in this statement.

Do you think the moderators/monitors in this game are like this quote?
Do you think that they are too above or below that statement?

Other Thoughts, opinions?

Obviously this isn't a thread to start flaming about them either so try not to.

@ Splid - So the player(s) that submits said evidence, do you believe their opinion(s)
should have an impact on the type/length of punishment, if any?

I know of at least one in that list that does from time to time, but not nearly as much as
ones that aren't listed...

Rehor that quote is based off of his activity and past standing correct?

Also remember mtoutlaw ya he got booted from the mod team due to a incident that had a lot
of epic lulz with it one power hungry one gone many more to go!

Anyways back on topic,

The mods i see as non power corrupted in my eyes are

BBR_Insuw (takes a lot of his own time to help out)

Dampre (event thing i think only)

Starline (though we have disagreed he is one of the better mods)

Bloodstone28 (whenever he's not doing stuff for his regular job as a officer in the US Army)

Cyddy (because she does help and tries not to get into conflicts with others)

Really those are the only ones i know that aren't total power hungry omgwtfjajaja mods.

Splids right though there isn't enough community involvement within the mod selection
process and the team operates in dark ways. [xxx]

Comparisons to criminal state organizations edited out. Thank you for your input but
please do observe a certain political correctness. Cheers, Winterx

"Also, allowing community input on punishment against a player may be fueled by
nothing more than heresay, personality conflicts and playstyle disagreement. "

If only there was a thing like evidence for you to use as a guideline.

"The community has no input on punishments for bias and can see no tangible
evidence of it being carried out except booting. Until players are more involved with
what goes on within TNF there will always be questions about their behaviour, a lot
of them are unfounded, but at the same time, a lot of them aren't."

I disagree. Punitive action against a player is not something that should be
disclosed to other players (even to the person submitting the ticket) or be made
publicly available.

Also, allowing community input on punishment against a player may be fueled by
nothing more than heresay, personality conflicts and playstyle disagreement.

Rehor maybe because I am relating it based off of a quote, and it is an analogy with
discussion.

We couldn't talk about this last year or the year before, or the year before or the year
before, so why now?

Oh, and everything Doomraver says is outrageously hilarious.
