2. The Following ships' specs will be adjusted:

A. RN Lion II

-Displacement (Normal) : 20424 -> 31122

-Displacement (Max) : 57000 -> 67500

-Base Speed : +2 Knot

-HE Defence : 1580 -> 1586

Wow... Base speed +2, it's fast enough for me. He defence : 1580 -> 1586? Lion II is already realy strong. It's not much, but of course it will effect. RN super strong, RM super damage, IJN super weak. UNFAIR!!

 Structural Strength +5%
 R Mount Reload Time -3%
 T Mount Reload Time -3%

 Ammo Damage +3%
 AP Increase +1
 Gun Accuracy +1

Oh... Cmon, you need to make exception! Ex :
-               RN ships are already strong, has good accuracy, and great damage, then they use Structural Strength +5%, Gun  Accuracy +1?? =              MONSTER
-               RM ships have realy great ammo damage and reload time, and if they use R Mount Reload Time  -3% and Ammo Damage +3%?? =    MONSTER
-               IJN?? Use everything maybe useless, and will be healty fast food.

4. The following engines will be adjusted:

RM

-RM SS Engine II

Power : 3400 -> 3900

-RM SS Engine II (Light)

Power : 3060 -> 3510

-RM SS Engine II (Heavy)

Power : 3740 -> 4290

-RM SS Engine III

Power : 3600 -> 4420

-RM SS Engine III (Light)

Power : 3240 -> 3978

-RM SS Engine III (Heavy)

Power : 3960 -> 4862

Oh... You kidding me.

Hope you understand what I feel using the hardest nation, IJN.
Thank you, playing

The official patch notes for patch 1.369 were posted on the forum 05.01.2013 @ 12:09 PST.  I only wish to know if members of the test team were given prior knowledge of the specific contents of the patch.  Not knowledge as in everything in the patch is something you have tested,  because you have tested this and more.  I want to know if the test team knew before the 12:09 patch announcement that specifically the Lion 2 would see changes and the H44 wouldn't, for example.  Or I know that you have done a lot of testing on planes, did you know before the announcement that in this patch T5 scouts would be getting slower and carry less fuel while fighters/bombers would remain as they are for now on the live server?

We put the patch notes together ourselves, basically. Or atleast a version used by GMs to check the live patch is accurate.

Only the RM SS changes were not on the patch notes we compiled for the GMs. From my own personal perspective I was aware of everything on the list except those SS changes a few days before it was announced.

L2 changes were done near the start of the project (the only reason this BB5 was singled out was the risk the max displacement tuning item would have with it, but when it was removed the changes to the L2 was finalised and displacement tuning stopped until the a dedicated BB5 patch), aircraft stuff was done closer to the end, T5 changes were moved from next patch to this patch pretty close to the end of the testing period.

The thread I wrote with explanations for all the changes was written about 3 days ago and just needed the associated patch to be made public. So, there you can see everything we knew that had been put into the patch notes.

You should take a few minutes to read through the first page of this, if only to understand the changes to the L2 before complaining that it has been buffed when it hasn't.

To clarify;

The L2 will take more damage than before, but still less than other BB5s.

The L2s speed is unaffected, although with a full 120 crew it used to go slower than intended, and this has been corrected with improvements to displacement.

The L2 will be able to fit the same amount of deck as before (or 0.1" less), and will more comfortably accomodate a 120 crew and bulge.

This is part of an ongoing review of BB5s and these changes are subject to future examination and possible change.

Whot I remember from playing on L2 on the beginign in BO lvl 103 rest of crev some levels I cem put max 9.8 inch deck, on level 120 I was able to pu 9.5, decrease to 9.4 is GREAT IMPACT on AW ability of this ship. 9.5 work 9.4 NOT.

IN fact Decrease L2 space may diallowed AW configuration vith full 120lvl CREV.

At eavning I test it wit CRW and I see if the worst happend.

Nerf Fest!

Dont you JUST HATE those players using auto-aim? Hell, auto-aim was already penalized but now because some people got good on an already INFERIOR FCS set up.... it has to be NERFED even more!

When Scout planes are NERFED - less air time/speed .... like enemy AA is not enough or over powered fighter planes for that matter - that is more than just a sign of poor taste. It is outright ignorant.

Scout speed? What scout speed? Oh, are they flying too fast for players using manual aim? Tough titty.

I guess bumping the speed and power up on a certain SS is purely a reflection of a certain person playing that particular nation that wants "the upper hand" when facing other nations? Yep,.. right. That is someone's idea of Balance. Yep, ... right.

This patch is a reflection of a small group of idiots that have far too much creative control over nerfing and buffing and their actions reflect on NavyField as a whole. If the hacking and crashes ain't enough to drive you away, hell throw some nerfs and whacking (in-game adjustments made by players with administrative access) into the mix.

SDE has almost the WORST management of the online gaming community. Fix yer game or shut it down.

Auto fcs got a "nerf" because of the auto fcs tuning component. The RM SS was too hard to speed cap. T5 scout speed "nerf" was probably because they are going to introduce new T4 fighters and the current T4 fighters will be T5 and only useable on CV6s. You need to take a chill pill and if you had the language comprehension and deductive reasoning skills of someone older than 12, you would see that this entire patch is good.

Edit: the scout speed wasn't changed because of AA. It was changed because they shouldn't be uncatchable by fighters. Seriously dude, do you even attempt to think before you post something?

Oh, so tuning does not work with manual aim? Hmmm... did not consider that.

Language comprehension? LOL!

What in hell are people like you influencing programming for then?  Type a number and SAVE. {Wait a minute - this joker may not know what programming is or how it works :( }

"...probably.." , so you dont really know? Uh, I am currently out of Chill Pills but will get some soon as I can in order to not have a stroke.

Scout speed for the highest level scouts SHOULD be faster than fighters. Decades ago the U-2 program (which was built on German technology) provided the essence of a superior scouting and surveillance capability. So in current NF essence the highest level scout should be nerfed to barely above a lvl 65 scout? That is simply outstanding!

Yes, I do consider that what I post can result in a ban or termination of my account here. However the stupidity of certain people and their obviously fouled sense of reasoning places me in the position to where I almost dont care if I get banned or lose my account.

SHORT ANSWER: You people NERF too damn much. The application as currently used known as Balance is a damn joke. Actions taken by individuals with administrative access is upsetting the player base with knee-jerk reactions to "special" items used for pay to win strategy.

Adding more nerfs will be inevitable it seems...... dammit you people cant just leave well enough alone. Maybe someday you will understand the concept of "Chain Reaction".

Enjoy your game.

TheFly

why not do it differently, rather than worsen we would not be top priority servers, no lag, and only then think about selling something ...
I agree that items are sold, but we can not lose performance in that we already have, why not leave the halls equal the WAW, without limitation, after all deserve after so many years playing and having fun and best of all making new friends and good

PT-BR

The patch of L2 is very "Succeful". SW variant is OK may be better. But AW variant with light 120LVL crev (delayded clases gunners) is fail becouse you need 198 tons lost in this patch too put 9.5 on deck and 0.2 belt and 1-2 buge (it is simbolic bulge) but you cant put 0.2 on belt which change you to bait for torpedos.

For me thats mean ADD more space -198 tons(IS LESS) for better plecemnt 120lvl crev on AW is one grat LIE.
