Hey guys,

 

I believe I now have sufficient concrete details in order to inform you of our company's upcoming plans regarding Kaiser server.

 

It doesn't take much to see that Kaiser server has been lagging behind Nebraska server in overall activity.  I know that some of you may not be inclined to believe me when I say it, but we have been constantly monitoring the conditions of both servers for some time; TeamNF moderators have been voicing the community's concerns, and we have been holding serious discussions internally about ways in which to improve gameplay enjoyment on Kaiser server. Since the lack of activity is a detriment to fully enjoying NF, we all agree that something pretty drastic must be done to fix this. Something like creating a very active single server community.

 

I've disclosed in the past the hurdles that we would need to get around in order to consider a server merge. The main issue stems from a technical server cap limitation. We have been afraid that by combining servers there may be instances in which some players may be unable to join during peak hours of activity and during event times or holidays.  Other hurdles include general account logistics and developing an efficient method to complete the merge.

 

Keeping in mind the unsatisfactory conditions on Kaiser server, our team has been working behind the scenes on overcoming the hurdles and planning a server merge to be completed as soon as possible.  Our devs have been aware of these plans but have some work to complete regarding a current project before the merge can be initiated. We are aiming to have the merge completed prior to any Winter event which would mean late November or earlier if possible. 

 

I really hope our players are understanding and supportive of this step as it is not an easy task to complete. I have to also stress that we may still run into some issues regarding those aforementioned hurdles but we will do our best to try and manage and mitigate before-hand, which may include actions such as no-notice disconnects, afk trade and fleet room removals, etc. as situations arise. Once the merger is complete we can then look forward to a an efficient environment for new content that everyone can gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from. Additional details will be added as they become available.

Thank you so much TNF for this development,I think having a server cap problem is easier  to fix than having provlems of inviting new players on a dead server.

I know Nebby ppl are scared with being not able to log in during peak times,but SDE can make solutions about this like automatically kicking players whose been afk at harbors and trade rooms should be abolished ( In my opinion).

We Kaiser players just want to enjoy the game that we all love and of course who wouldn't want to sink a couple of hall of famers from time to time aye?

Would be great if we can do this before the winter event if not pls can you make the last winter event on Kaiser memorable...

Please take note Randy: this is the ONLY content anyone is interested in.

 

BTW anyone who's wondering, I'm betting on all fleets needing to be remade again :P

seriously?? really merging??
i don't see there are much benefits if you do this other than solving the problem of lack of players in kaiser server and the death of itself

you use a method that "seems" relatively simplier but which will potentially bring up more problems to solve one single problem. how wise and short sighted
i can't think of any better idea but i really don't think this is a viable one

merging 2 servers, what's next? as yourself already mentioned, a server cap limitation. let me mention more. currency, price of sailors, investments on harbors, fleets, play style differences of 2 different servers, skill level differences, "cultural" differences between 2 servers etc.
if you ever looked around when the last server merge, you should remember clearly that how ppl from iowa server and yamato server stood against each others when they are merged to nebby server. not to even mention the edge ppl in kaiser server got on the items in all the past events.

putting a dying guy with a normal guy and live together will actually help him from dying?seems legit 

Randy i dunno what you think about it, but i really hope you can reconsider about merging.

Kaiser activity decrese because there is not much active players (domino effect- It constantly decrese). Guess what happen when they will find out servers merged.

Hi guys,

May some of us have 1 ID but play at 2 server. Of course we don't want the ID that we play at other server but we don't play become the one that appear after merge. And, may be we get some problems like loss of money, ship, item, and other. So, I think we batter choose which ID that we want to use (Nebraska/Kaiser).

Sorry for my very bad English =D

they merge accounts... If I understand you right money will be added all crews etc.

deliver it to Poland twice a week and you can merge.
