Redcap, my point was more that 2 identical ships (including the same cost) in this case should have some sort of balance between them, as it is its simply a case of the SN version being flat out better in every respect.
I'm cool with it keeping a better spread, but I don't think its unreasonable to have a trade off in terms of speed, turning force, DP, or some other factor to level that out. This is what I meant in terms of "balance".
Bringing in talk of the bb6 or other ships is out of the context of what I am talking about here, I was talking specifically about the balance of 2 ships that should be really easy to do since they are literally exactly the same in most regards except for engine space and the way the crews are classed. I think you may have either taken me the wrong way or read too much into my post.
e: And for what its worth I own both of them as originally stated, so I feel qualified enough to draw some conclusions here even though the conclusions are pretty obvious IMO.
