- Nerf Premium HH damage; At the moment, their damage is similar to depth charges. It
needs to be reduced. Premium weapons are a bad idea anyway...

- Buff Normal HH damage. They hardly affect subs nowadays, especially with high level
subs.

- Create a minimum angle for Hedgehogs; Minimum of 10 degree's.

- Removal of surface ship damage by HH

- Reduce the credit cost of HH.

In my opinion, Hedgehogs are set up incorrectly.

When NF made the nerf changes to the SS class, they also upgraded damage
changes to Hedgehogs. As compensation to the SS class, they lifted the damage
repair while underwater restriction. A trivial change.

And since HHs were buff'd, and they have a nifty feature of exploding on contact with
surface ships, they are now the absolute most powerful weapon for a Level 12 sailor.
Good range and explosive force makes them a potent weapon. I have seen many
ships sunk from a HH barrage. I sank a Ticonderoga CV with HHs in a CV-Only battle.
I watched a HH CA just pummel every ship that got near. With high level Reload
gunners punching out HHs every few seconds at enemy ships. This isn't about anti-
sub anymore, this is clusterbomb attacks on ships. HHs should be timed explosives
and only work on submerged vessels and only minimally on surfaced vessels that
pass over explosions. HH fittings should be removed on all but ASW-ONLY ships. A
special class of ship restricted to FF, DD and some CL. BB, CV, CA, SS classes should
not have fittings. A key ingredient in game play is the cooperation of other players in
your needs. A lonely scout, an ASW ship to combat SS, a good CV for air support, a
CA or CL for close in support. The game needs small ships.

The accuracy is perfectly fine. The reason for that accuracy is the gunners, not the
launchers themselves. That would be like saying the Monty can't have good spread
because it 1 shots everything too often.

This needs to happen. Not only for the subs, but because I get too much joy out of 2
shotting Montana's with a PHH loaded Emden :P

Phh should do much less damage and the spread such be terrible the 45 degree is the
max range shot and its just stupid how tight the spread the spread is and the reload
time is crazy you wait about a few seconds and shoot again they either need to nerf
the damage or cap the reload at 30 seconds if you have high enough gunners you can
just keep shooting these one shotting monsters all day. The worst thing sde did was to
give them out in the 1000's to everyone i mean i still havent bought any but i have a
stock pile of them

also if sde was going for historical accuracy there wouldnt be any bb6 ijn would have
1/2 cv/ss bb's would shoot so far the map would be 5x as big a DD would never hit a bb
with deck guns cv's would have all the kills by bombers ( oh wait that is in the game )
the Japanese navy would have enough fuel for about 2 min before they ran out and FF
DD & Cl would drop 1000's of dept charges and hit with 10% of them

OPed ship...while your at it geez...

Prem HH's are NOT balanced, fact that you think they are just shows how much you
know about online gaming.

Prem HH's need both dmg and trigger nerf, but personelly....if they get removed
wouled be a much beter choice...

prem wep .ons = no no, just no

this topic needs a recc, it's 1 out of 754 things wich involve subs and needs fixing,
IMO.

I'm not talking about TK damage. I am talking about people using them to kill BB's. The
damage is stupid.

Historical Accuracy or Realism =/= Game Balance

Game Balance is more important than historical accuracy.

@Birddawg

$ shouldn't give an auto win. PHH are not balanced.

The Premium HH's are balanced! They wouldn't make any money from them if they nerf them.
Who would spend their hard earned cash for HH's that aren't much better then the free
ones? I know I wouldn't. Again its about the CASH!!!

PLEASE DON'T NERF PREMIUM HH'S!!! My money is burning a whole in my pocket.
