LordKelvin
Welcome to my guide on the ships of the United States Navy in Navy Field! This
guide is a compilation of the knowledge of many players, new and veteran alike, and
is always growing. If you feel that something needs to be added, simply post in this
thread (or even better, send me a message) and I'll see if it's worth adding. I'm
always looking for more viewpoints about the ships in the game, so don't hesitate to
add something.

While the US is listed as being the most balanced nation in NF, many veteran players
will say otherwise from experience. Nonetheless, the US can be a fun nation to play;
some times you'll be very happy that you chose the US as your nation, though there
will also be times when you'll wonder why you chose it in the first place. It's true
that the US doesn't have any real strengths, but it also doesn't have many glaring
weaknesses, as the other nations do.

I'm not actually planning to do a BB and CV section just yet, since:

1. There's already a good BB guide stickied up
2. Using CVs in general is an entirely new style of play, and I personally don't have any
experience using one as of yet.

However, as I do have placeholders, I may change my mind and the BBs and CVs in the
future, but don't hold your breath on it.

Bravo! Beautiful guide! ^^
Care to give an ETA on when you're going to finish the CV and BB section? I'm interested
on how those are going to look like. Anyways, this deserves to be stickied :D

sweet ive been looking for an up to date guide on the US line. now im playing US more
than im playing UK, partially because i have no money to fully armor my UK ships, and that
my gunners are sub-par, so i have even horribler (not even a word eh?) spread then UK is
reputed for. plus i have boosted gunners from a former clanmate for US, so awesome!! my
spread still kind of sucks in Atlanta though. good job LK.
