Hi All,

While im feeling all proactive.

Calmly and rationally - What keeps you out of your CV?

How do we get you back in your CV playing again?

Again - Please keep this clear of speculation, insults. Everyone has their right to a
viewpoint or reason, debate it but do so with reason and back it up.

If not or you cant, then leave it

Yes no doubt this has been discussed to death, but is also a major issue in NF today
resulting in games taking too long to load etc. Yes I also know there is the CV wish list
thread.

This is a temporary quick fire solution suggestion thread - Keep it short and concise

Heres a couple for you

1) Crew death
2) Player abuse (bullying and insults)
3) TB's DB's shortened range
4) Locals need resolving (?)

Hey hey fellow players/NF staff short and sweet Bigger map, Real subs killed with
1 to 4 torps / no hull stopped this Some torps were duds ( sold my sub after
the "update" ) My CV has 4 TB slots 1 DB 1 Fighter (useless on a BB6) after AA
Enemy fighters and 255 hull

BB's rule NF <<>>>doesn't seem right? Then why 98% of the room fill up with 20
BB's first? Why is it 20 and not 10 and 20 cv's instead? Quickest kill is a 1 hit from a
BB to you even if you can't see the enemy BB.. CV torps/DB you have time to see it
coming and move A AAship can not make damage on a BB . A sub can't make
damage on a BB less its hurt

Even up BB1 to BB6 range of Attack with BB1 with lesser damage
Give back subs what they had
Enter a new ship class ( PT boat DD) with Depth charges ( pay or given ) like HH
Sonar ( works only when Overspeed happens)

Without locals, theres no point for lower level CV's to even -be- in a GB. They just get
curbstomped by all the other stronger CV's with no chance to fight back. Being in a
Bogue or Collosus and getting camped by level 120 fighters is -not- fun in any sense of
the word. Locals, at least, give a slim chance of being useful. (Though, against level 120
fighters, even locals will get shot down).

All a low level CV can do is a) Bomberwhore and hope they don't get camped, b)
Attempt to kill scouts while avoiding any and all engagements with enemy fighters (And
if you're using T1 planes, even killing a scout is a trial), c) Scout, which is a horrible use
of a CV's resources if that's all it's doing, or d) Use locals and serve as a close escort for
BB's.

Even low level BB's have a -chance- at doing damage and killing a higher level BB.
CV's...just suffer.

i frown at my cv because locals suck.... i love watching a local kill a T3 plane.... i
personaly think it is BS.

I will play my cv for many games sometime this week or the next and calculate my crew
losses and we will see where it goes from there

Hmmm, few things
for the record, I play a BB5, CV5 and SS4, recently BBs more than the others
My normal CV configuration is 5 Ftrs and 3 DB, but occasionally go fighter heavy.
My Ftrs go 3-2-2-2-2 followed by DB 4-4-3, then its mostly Ftrs unless they are all up and
I can ready more DB, but Fighters get the priority for my BBs

Biggest is crew death, I seem to always get pilots get killed (on my BB scout too). I do
run a medic, but it doesn't seem to help. I can deal with the crew death, IF I can get
crew increases close to my losses. Along the lines of crew death, I never get any crew
increases in my CV.
***Limit the crew loss or give bonus exp for good fighter/bombing runs

I have T3 Ftrs over level 100 and they just do the circle thing chasing an enemy scout,
***They should toast a scout.

Chasing enemy, when I assign planes to an area, they should stay there, not fly half way
across the map chasing the enemy. Or when I tell them to fly to an area, they stop to kill
a scout and never go/continue to the assigned area even though the sqdr marker number is
at a different point on the map. I fly up up 8 sqdrs and it's a pain when some don't
go/stay where I put them.
****Maybe two modes, stay in area or to go to area assigned when they are done fighting.

This game has always favored the BB drivers, unfortunately there is very little TEAMWORK.
Each ship was designed with it's advantages and disadvantages, Kill ships, kill subs,
planes; all having to work together, but the ME and MY for a person seems to ruleover
TEAMWORK.
**** NF should take the opinion of a group of individuals divided between the major ship
drivers (players), BB, CV and SUBs, not just how many complain on the forums, however I
realize the squeaky wheel gets the oil and any business has to make money, thus you server
the majority of the people and those are the BB players. but using a better group of the
CV/BB/SS players would make sense for a better balanced game, NavyField instead of
BattleshipField.

Locals, a person with low level pilots should not be able to beat a high level T3 fighters.
*** Balance the locals with the level of the pilot. Maybe boost the level of the pilot +10
when they use locals, this way a pilot level 110 with T3s will beat a level 50 pilot with
locals, but both level 100, the guy with the locals will win.

Planes disappearing after CV sinks. Why do torps and BB shells continue after their ships
sink, but CV planes don뭪 continue when the CV sinks? Same for ships scouts. They will
stay flying until fuel runs out. I뭭e had a many getting ready or in the DB and my planes
vanish when I뭢 sunk.
**** CV planes should remain flying and under control until they run out of fuel after CV
sinks or stop the other ships Torps and Shells from continuing.

I see the abuse, but rarely get it, occasionally from a noob BB, but I뭢 not sure you will
be able to stop it. The BBs all want planes in different areas, over the enemy, scouting
over there; I need fighter protection, etc. Seems the CV is extremely important to the BB
since they always blame the CV for not seeing the enemy. Older BB drivers know a CV can뭪
have planes every where all the time and a higher level CV can keep a enemy CV bottled up
killing all it뭩 planes.
**** no real suggestion, but for the CV players, remember who abuses you and place your
coverage over a different BB, the good BB drivers remember good CV drivers.

**** Formations would be nice.

Ooooh, me likey. But I don't think they should eliminate launch caps. That's what
motivates us to get higher lvl CVs partly. They should just increase them.

6. That doesn't work out very well. That would mean a Hosho could only carry 9 T3
fighters. Keep that part as is.

Suggestions:

1. Remove Locals, T1s can do everything Locals Can longer.
2. Introduce T4s (Not the locals edited I want my P51 Mustang)
3. Reduce Vet loss on Planes, Increase Expert loss to compensate.
4. Decrease loading times by 25% so CVs can launch more planes in the air. Allowing CVs to
do fighting cover and bombing more efficiently at the same time.
5. Remove Max Plane launch limits. Let people load as many planes per pilot as they want
on a CV. The Load time will make up for it.
6. Increase Plane space by 20%. Cap each type to max 60% of plane space. Must Carry more
one type
of plane. Pilot for other type of plane not required.
7. Increase Medic efficiency.
8. Add 1 dedicated support slot (No pilot whats so ever) to all CVs
9. Set aircraft stat to set the sight distance (+12s should see 1 screen each direction @
120, 1/2 screen @ lvl 60, 1/3 of screen @ lvl 40)
10. EXP and/or credit penalty for TKing friendly aircraft.

locals are way overpowered....many cv3-4's cant do much about it and it just rages
BB drivers more since they are like...*stupid accent*scout cv you are cv4 and its cv1
against u*stupid accent*

KM FP have the offense benefit.(- the lower fuel+speed ft .i run 8 ft setup pcv in us
server)
US IJN(ijn kinda paper armor 8 elite pcv in eu server,long time ago i was and here ijn
akagi remodel cv.no more now) have the speed benefit +fuel
