havent done any tests on divetime compared to the other SS3's..

Ok, I'll spill the beans... it's its splash dgm.
Of course, I need to do the proper testing to be completely sure, but once you get used to
your torps ranges; you can just own anything with the "nuclear blast" and nullify the dud
chances...

Seriously, I've been quite surprise when damaging ships that avoided my torps.

And on a side note, MN is nice :P

So far I'm enjoying the MN subs. What special feature are you talking about with the torps
Lan? It is interesting to read in the game info section that the tier 2 torps for the MN
subs hit harder then the IJN counter part, but they take forever to reload. I also think
the SS1 looks really cool in-game :)

The biggest let down for me is that there doesnt seem to be very much difference
between the fast and slow torp speed so u have to get up fairly close to targets.

But they seem good sub on the whole =]

French torps have a secret feature that make them quite useful, better than others--not as
much as proxy though..

Added Dive time info.

The subs are good, i would say the SS1 is the best ss1 in the game, ss2 is the 2nd best
after the KM ss2, because the KM has proxy torps, making lvling alot easier.

do we have any info on the ss4? Trainworld's MN shipline hasn't updated it yet
