The torpedo reload is slow yes, but as after 2 battles in the ss1 i boosted and put 200
experts onto my torpers and its good enough. Espcially when you think about the number of
torps you can drop in a salvo.

In sub to sub warfare, by the time you fire your last torp you normally have reloaded anyways.

I think that reload time of the torpedo is very slow.

It seems we're the only ones with French subs so far, or at least the most advanced (SS2)

This is the uberest, it gets faster and deadlier. I just want to try tier3 after some more
slaughter on my new baby :P

you missed its nice range. I'd need to compare it to other nations, yet it has a torp
range that could save your life.
I don't want to try deck gun, but Sirene is quite similar to Vickers if it wasn't for the
lesser support slot

6 Front torp launcher, 1 rear torp launcher.
mine ran at 20/24, i cant really see any change in the speed through engineers due to the
fact it only has 2 support slots and you would have to drop a planesman or a sonarman onto
the gun slot.

Dive Time: 125 seconds
Vickers L3 - 120 seconds
H type - 110 seconds
Type II - 105 seconds
O-Type (?)


In playing through this ship I found the best tatics is to wait for the ss3-4s to get just
short of the your teams BB, then move out and engague them, this will be easier when
everyone currently playing ASW will be up to CA-BB on their french grind.

If you kill the ss3-4 and you have enough air, you can often push onto the enermy BBs,
picking up another easy 20k if undected.
