I'll requote the rule as you probably need to read it more than once (read valefar's then
mine):-

"You must have at least 30 members to declare harbor assault, having less than
this means you will have no chance of winning and will most likely lead to wasting
the defending fleets time."

Now once you have read the rule twice think about who the rule is protecting. . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . the rule is protecting THE FLEET THAT HOLDS THE HARBOUR THAT IS
BEING DECLARED ON.

Now, in this particaular case, there was NO defending fleet. So no ones time was
wasted and most importantly (which is what is mainly being protected by this rule) no ones
PREM SUBSCRIPTION apart from the attackers was wasted. A fleet with only 10 members could
have attacked as only the attacking fleets time was used.

The reason people are demanding he be compensated is because HIS PREM SUBSCRIPTION is
currently being wasted for not only NOT breaking this rule, but for jumping at an
opportunity to take a harbour by declaring faster than anyone else.

I'm 99% sure he won't get unbanned, and I'm surprised this thread is still here. That
doesn't mean it can't open a few eyes... "fresh eyes" if you will... to the type of
behavior that has typified TNF the last few years.

He won't get unbanned for his own actions

He won, so that parts irrelevant. He didn't waste anyone's time, seeing as no one
defended, so that part is moot too. Some people are mad that he beat them to the punch in
declaration, so they ban him instead of fix a flawed system. Worst-case scenario is that
someone gets to declare next week and has a solid chance of winning.

If you don't think about the rules, that is your problem, and has nothing to do with
common "sence"....

The rules state that for HA a fleet needs 30 people to PARTICIPATE! Apperantly if
Rehor did a HA by himself he is breaking this rule. Thus a ban will follow. Its common
sence people, if you dont read the rules then thats your problem.

Yes i do agree on the fact that some mods make up rules on the fly, but this is a
clearly stated rule and should have been read. Anyone who didnt do so and broke it
can expect consequences.

accounts unbanned, compensation given to him for being falsely banned, and said member(s)

Apparently its not just me that thinks TNF has become more "Gestapo" like lately.

Congrats to Rehor and his merry band for taking a harbor with like 3 people.
Definately worth a few laughs, but the suspension seems a bit much.

the post that got locked and unlocked to add this rule ...it was a big joke. to me : copy
and pasting such an old peace of info that is not even correct.

this info is so useless and means nothing :because at this time there is no fee on
declarations

maybe change the rules in the rulebook if u change them in game coming with such outdated
info and ban someone for it is is a good joke at best and than this part :if it becomes
needed at some stage we will introduce one but at this time the moderator team

it is not free : so the barrier for one man flota's to attack is already up !

it is a smart and good thing that a small fleet comes first and .
because it is boring to capture an empty harbor .
and because of the SN release + rental =good game plan : and this is why people reported
the blue sky flota.

i thought it was a good thing that the fleet size builds up :
if a big fleets attacks an empty harbor it is a waste of time
so 3 man fleet got it now gets attacked by a 10~15 who get attacked by a 20~30 man fleet ect

than again just ban him the way sde treats HA ..it reminds me of the forgotten red headed
step child we forgot in the closet .

I dont know what happen, but after reading this forum, I agree they should be
unbanned. TNF abusing power... AGAIN... what else is new. This type of behavior
shouldnt be allowed, period. I believe they should unban them and then turn around
and ban those who banned Rehor and them. SDE/TNF ect ect, they are so jacked up.
I am not bashing them, thats my opinion, but Im sure they will see it bashing them
and ban me next, too. *shrug* Not like it REALLY matter. This game has gone to hell.
HS just made it worse and now they ban people without warnings (as according to
thier rules). Pfft, whatever.
