Answer: Seaman does not have the medical ability. Once you change your sailor to
medic, then the medical ability appears.

Since the CV ability patch, Seaman tend to be useless due to caps.

I did warn them, but they rushed the patch through.

I still run them on BB though ;)

Unless running perfectly classed vetcapped lvl 120 elite USN fighters, I doubt one
should worry about the fighterability cap.

We tested 6 to 7 seaman stack on a CV with a bomber. The difference?


Negligible. Just spent one experts pack on it, or try to get few more vets.

Moral of the story. Get ready to spend crapload of investment to have a mediocre difference.

OK first off I have tested trying to stack seamen I have at this moment a US chf Seaman
lvl 119 I use mainly on my CV he is +13 ftr +12 air +12 bomber My ftrs are lvl 117 my
dbers are lvl 114 my tbers are lvl 103 base stats on ftrs are 11 air 10 ftr with 1 (my )
seaman my not uber ftrs can hold thier own against any nations ftrs of same lvl or higher
without him on they at best get pwnd by lower lvl ftrs that have better stats now if I add
another seaman US nation lvl can be same or lower it does nothing to help. My US seaman
has 158 vets13 rookies829 experts on him. Yes he has 1000 sailors at lvl 119. so the tests
that i have done all were ingame btw so didnt keep alot of screenies just if ur on MO i
can show u what im talkin about. My personal conclusion is that even my Ftrs which are
capped the seaman still helps if u stack u will lose it is same as usin a seaman and a
medic they contradict themselves.

Since pretty much everything is capped anyway I allways saw them as being pointless. I
would rather have en extra rep, engy or a medic for a cv.
