dontcha think $DE? I think it's time to focus on NF3D and stop doing anything with
this game.. keep it up and running so us die hard fans can continue to play.. collect
money from us.. but stop doing any more nations.. and build a new navyfield. I think
we can all agree it's about time to flush this and start anew.

just saying.

Maybe it's time for you to just stop posting spam posts gump? You consistently post flame
posts against SDEnternet. As a matter of fact, I don't think you've posted anything of
useful value in a very long time. It's amazing that all you do is whine and whine and
whine. If you don't like the game so much, then just leave.

We won't miss you.

"Unless they plan on giving me every dime back I ever spent on this game, there is
NO wy in hell anyone will support that"

LOL really? give me a break..

look at it this way.. you are paying for entertainment (you said yourself you put
money into it).

If you were to go to a movie, theater, parks.. things cost money.. this game
provides you entertainment so you pay for it.. just like MMO's.. ever play everquest
back in the day? now what do you play? bet it aint everquest.

there is a point in time when games need to either get their crap together or they
sink.. this game is sinking.. I'm sure EVERYONE can darn near agree on that..

has new nations saved the game? has subs? has server merge? nope nope nope
nope

these are all just temp measures to keep this game on life support.. new nations
are not the answer..

I dont understand why you dopes are so fixated on "omg cry I dont want to start a
new crew" boohoo.. times change and so do games..

this crew cant even get the game they have working right and that is why people are
leaving.. no other reason than that.. think about it.. when was the last time
someone said they were quitting for reasons other than the
crap/garbage/bugs/crashes that are happening now?

focus on whats important.. fixing code or focusing on the new project.. resources
need to be focused on one or the other.. not both.. cause it aint working right now

and cyber horses? really? I want to see a single study or anything that has shown
there to be a market for cyber horses.. what bout 50 people? woohoo.. roll out
the red carpet for that baby..

These guys just fail to understand the american market.. plain and simple.

I look at it this way. You have spent all your time and effort to build the mass of
ships and crew you have today. Many people would start anew with 0 ships and 0 of
the things they have worked for. To this day I have not really found a remake of a
game that brought back the same love I had for the original. Goldeneye.....they
remade it and it bombed. Be careful what you wish for.

All you players saying "oh, just delete NF and make a 3D version" are crazy. Unless
they plan on giving me every dime back I ever spent on this game, there is NO wy in
hell anyone will support that. I am assuming all those saying this havent played very
long or spent much money.

Oh, and if you think a 3D version will be better, you are nuts! They have enough
trouble with a 2D version, I cant imagine the problems with a 3D engine /lmao

stable anymore ."

It has never been stable - so better delete that "anymore".

Nf3d would really give this game a jumpstart they should focus on implementing a 3d
version first then add italy and other nations if possible. The current version just isnt
stable anymore .

I dont think the entire game core can be repaired without really screwing something up
(such as wipe of all ships/sailors for a crazy example)
I think starting from scratch and having a new stable core would be the best way to go
and SDE should learn from their mistakes and make it more stable/fun.

@N1ghtCross

I agree 100% with you. SDE can make this game much better and have a
subscription like EQ, WoW, and DAoC and people wouldnt mind paying $10 a month,
but the problem is that they are too damn lazy to do it. EVE has worked it rump off
and has a very large and complex game, but its still a good game. They have
downtimes everyday at 5am central to run scans and make sure everything is ok.
Then they have updates weekly/biweekly and the expansions are free, which is the
bigest bonus in my opinion. SDE really can make this game soar if they wanted...
when we need to have happen is a big company like Sony or someone to buy the
game out, but without the game being advertised enough, that wont happen.

Now, NF3D is a HORRIBLE idea, I for one wont try it. NF2D has had all these
problems for so many years and SDE has totally ignored them, so why am I going to
play another of the games IF/WHEN they make it and just have the same issues?
Simple, I wont and nobody else should either.

Now, about the new PC components and such, thats horsecrap. Dont try to make
some piss poor excuse how PCs have changed and yada yada yada. I can still play
games from the 90s on my new PC with Windows 7 and all the trimmings. The
problem isnt the PCs and components, its SDE being too lazy to actually FIX
anything and instead they keep adding more bullcrap to an already broken game
and the bullcrap they added was also broken (note the SN issues with sprites that
they STILL havent patched but instead tell us to do it manually) making the game
even MORE broken. This is nothing new, this has been going on for years now and
so what we have is a demolished game that has tons of messed up coding that just
keeps getting stockpiled over and over without ever being scanned and fixed.
Eventually SDE will have a game that wont even run anymore (which they almost
have on thier hands right now, seeing how many players cant even finish 1 battle,
let alone START a battle, before it crashs) unless they take the time and FIX the
damn thing.

@SDE (not that you guys actually read anything we post)

We are not asking for new content, new buyable ships, new buyable sailors... we
want you to fix the game so its stable, fun like it used to be, draws more players by
advertising, and to just make 98% of your playerbase happy and show them you do
care, at least a LITTLE, about our voices and opinions. Please, stop lining your
wallets with our money and spend some of that accumulated cash and just fix the
game!

Oh really? Computers can't run the older programs eh? Are you sure you wanna say that?

Because I find it funny that out of all the older games that I play (couple dozen of em circa 1990 or so), THIS game
is the ONLY ONE whose performance has only gotten WORSE over time.

Interesting, isn't it?

your going to need to raise your pants and put your waders on to walk through all this
bullshit here, i'm not trying to defend SDE at all however we all know that bitching and
moaning at Koreans will get us nowhere. i mean, they still place Starcraft for christ sake.

Anyway instead of trying to Make NF3D what SDE needs to do is fix the coding on NFNA, and
take the approach that CCP has with eve over the last decade. update the graphics and
content through continuous patches and coding changes. this would save the time in
developing a completely new game and would also make the player base happy as they would
not have to restart.

but since eve and NFNA work differently just in "XP" a simple solution to NF would be to
increase the level cap of sailors; have more ships, more customization of the ships(much
like the dawn of war army editor, but a 3D model of the ship with a spray painter.)or have
SDE look at the forums for general changes the player community would like fixed and
implement them. add a subscription fee to the game, get online and TV advertisement.
REMEMBER!! people are attracted to hot women and big guns. so if navy field has a
commercial with beautiful women drinking beer and "cleaning the guns" then more people
will play. and get rid of premium everything; add more events and replace the premium
ships for event awards. just some ideas but you all get the point.

There is a lot that could get fixed and the developers at SDE need to get their heads in
game or one of their biggest games could tank in the near future.

Cheers
