Any NF rule metion the CV FLAG should go back , go back . It with out freedom.

last week , I often be flag. I run near BB battle line for suppurt shoot down enemy
planes with local FT but BB order to me to go back!

The Flag meaning commander, right? If not, pls advice us the better meaning of
FLAG.

anyway, i think Flag should be commander, but players not ever think flag is
commander and give many order to FLAG as a FLAG is his son.
But that isn't me.
The flag should give orders to other player instead other player orders to flag.

one battle I be flag and control north group.
I try to push BB go forward (dont back) untill I got win.
And that battle , I get new history of NF that I(FLAG) meet enemy Flag at center of
map. Ha Ha, no have any appointment. after enemy BB was sunk by our BB team
with I command them to go forward( my tactics ) I try to rush forward for lead the BB
to follow us. also escort BB to cover.(I know my flag was modify good with high
speed and small shape, I have power of turn force ,so I can do like this) nice BBs
agree my plan and go with us.
So enemy BB north sunk all. and I found enemy FLAG is alone and going to me.
I tell our BB that don't sink him. until my ship(FLAG) overlap enemy flag. as FLAG
huming FLAG, Ha Ha

That time all player isvery surprise that meeting. Thank a lot BB that game who join
our plan.

That is nice time on NF. everybody may have a nice time, If they play with together.
NOT ORDER FLAG. If your Flag have leadership.

Some battle, I can't have a good BB. They order us to back and say noob.
someone tell us that is common sence the FLAG shouldbe back.
I tell him that common sence in 1942. now is 2011.

Thank you

You know this guy is trolling, right?
'someone tell us that is common sence the FLAG shouldbe back.
I tell him that common sence in 1942. now is 2011.'
He also needs to learn English,...

When people say "FLAG BACK", they are only trying to help by reminding you to stay
away from the line. Sometimes when i play CV, I accidently get too close to the battle
line when i am controlling my planes over the enemy and I appreciate people telling me
to get back. ANY CV on the battle line will get targeted first.

"You do realize if someone rushes the BB line and your close enough they decide to bypass
the BBs and sink you, your team is screwed. They just want you back enough so if the line
collapses you have a chance to notice and get away."

That was all that needed to be said, close thread!

when they say flag get back, they are talking to the cv with the big yellow word flagship
over it.

any cv that is aimlessly floating into fire needs to be tk'ed so looseing is an accident
rather than an act of stupidity.

I would also like to see flags being the commanders in the battles rather than just
the target. In reality the flagship is the ship with the groups commander. Although
sadly within NavyField theres not the teamwork, willingness, nor the ability to pick
flagships based upon commanding ability or to get around language barriers.

About you personally being the flag and going too close to the enemies range, I'm
afraid thats your fault really. Great Battles objective is to sink the flagships and so
therefore your too valuable an vessel to take that sort of risk. I however would not
call any vessel a "noob" should they do so, I would just inform them. Yesterday I
saw something slightly similar, the flagship (whom had a rather nice name for an
attacker class in my opinion) was getting too close to the enemy so I just informed
him "HMS Chaser suggest you turn" and I just stuck by him trying to protect as best
I could in my destroyer. Should he want to push forward or where ever well fine hes
the flag his choice but they should understand in GB's that they are vunerable and
valuable.

Well one of the best cvs I ever remember seeing is emu87 (Malta project, torp
whore) who consistently played on the front line, yet won so many games, although
this is before flagship mode.

Like it has already been stated, most important thing for you, is not getting sunk, if
your too close, you run the risk of bombers and subs, rushing BBs, your also
stopping your own BBs manouvering.

Its been pointed out to me over on JFF that maybe I should give him props for encouraging
others to play more aggressively.

lol "FLAGSHIP"is a commander its ridiculos..FlagShip mean u are the most precious Ship
in the Team and most wanted Ship in the enemy Team if u were spotted all Ship were
attractive to u automatic because u are the main Ship in GB2.if you were sunk its
provide 50% chance to win.and by the way if you in line of bb line its make bb harder
to manuver they ship because they have to think to avoid you being hit.just 1 WORD i
would describe to your plan....

USELESS

Thats a good point. Its helpful for me too. The only thing I don't like is when they just
say "flag" and nothing else.

dont forget u can get owned by a sub being in the bb line too.

btw, i like when ppl say to me "cv back" being flag or not, because im always
micromanaging my fts and i cant see my ship all the time.
