War5pite

Just added to the test server!

Not alot in detail yet but soo far quite concerning in the potential for how bad this could go wrong, anyways heres some screenshots.

All the available items

And I guess the means to bolt them to your ship

All we know is they are Olive funded items and have a duration of 3 days.

Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I wonder who thought intentionally introducing a deadly, contagious plague into the shred of balance the community has toiled out of this outdated undersupported game would bring more players or money, or any benefit at all. This game is very far from thriving, you want to encourage your playerbase to invest time into the game, to enjoy it, to refer others to it. Making them panic doesn't do that, and implementing whatever they call this doesn't either.

It is bad enough judgement for a large game to implement something like this and alienate much of their playerbase in the hopes of collecting more revenue in the end.

But when a game that can't afford to lose any players that will not be replaced considers something like this, they should throw it out and send whoever suggested it seriously back to their parent's basement where they belong to study grade school economics and logic.

Try to remember that sde is a bussiness. that means revenue, If it will sell, then sell it. If you dont want to buy it don't. But don''t fuss if someone else does.

Wouldn't the 10% make it better than a ship with manual and no tuning?

I feel like auto should have the same (or at least closer to) accuracy as manual. I personally use manual, but some people with disabilities can't use manual for physical limitations.
The tuning items will also be a random drop guys. Be thankful that free-to-play people can use 90% of the game content (100% if you played some older events). Everything in the olive store could have been earned in an event at some point in NF. This is the best free-to-play game on the market as it pertains to purchasable content useable without spending money.

I understand that the bug fixes, crashing, and desynchs should be more of a priority than it currently seems to be, BUT the players don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to availability of olive items for free. Heck there are things in the game (EBBs) that are better than anything purchasable with real money. If someone had declared on London or New York this week we would be closer to solving the desynch problem. Guess who's fault it is that nothing is being done to fix it this weekend. Hint, the players. I'm not saying there aren't good reasons for not declaring on a major Christian holiday weekend. All I'm saying is that there are a lot of people complaining, but not many people willing to go even a little out of their way to help fix things. It's easier to complain about something than it is to fix it. In conclusion, grow up, help the test team, and stop expecting something for nothing. If you want a good example of the last one, just look at how many people said that the EBB event (that was free to everybody) was too hard to complete.

Are you really as clueless as you present yourself?

Any chance you are going to tell me what part of my post would be "clueless"? I imagine not.

With the entire community predicting the future, you are going to blame the community for not reporting bugs?  For the last 5-6 years (especially the last 2-3).  Perhaps it's the intermediates between the community and SDE who are dropping the ball in the most incredible way.
