Pay to win. I am just surprised it took SDE this long.

I will be glorious if you have to buy these items as a pack as each tuning item will only last for one battle.

Sort of amazed it has taken someone until page 3 to say they are surprised it took SDE this long to come up with it...

if they are seriously going to add this give a button to disable ship modifications like we have a no torp button and no escort

Given SDE's track record of implementing new items (remember the Italian, French, and Russian Rentals?), this is going to completely destroy the game.  They simply do not have a proper testing environment to truly know what will happen when this goes live and it will be bedlam.  On top of that, given what appears to the naked eye as a decent number, I don't give it long before someone comes up with a hack to implement some of these items for free, thus killing the game completely.

It's been a nice run but if this does come to pass, it will completely, utterly, and irrevocably kill this game and drive the masses (what little there is) away.

I don't think there is a single player who would welcome this. That being said, I would request that the test team urgently and completely boycott testing this all together and make a stand against it. This WILL kill what's left of the game,there is no doubt. And I can't help but wonder if test team refusal to test this would stop it from being put on live server. Don't really see anything else we can do to prevent it
