Finally we won our 19th crown. We have overtaken Liverpool. We are now the best
team in England, and soon the world when we overtake Real Madrid 9 European titles.

What are you thoughts and comments about the Red Devils dominance in England and
as a global brand throughout the world? Please (if you want) state which club do you
support and which country are you from. Thank you.

Take nothing away from Barcelona's brilliance. Messi is a genius and is only 23 years
old. Xavi, Busquets and Iniesta are just so good with the ball its unbelievable.

I think this is the biggest display of dominance from a team over another in a final in
recent years. Milan 4 x 0 Barcelona comes to mind too.

BUT, thought Fergie made some mistakes, and shockingly so, very similar mistakes to
2009 ones.

Lot's of Man.U fans will (unfairly) point the finger at Carrick like 2009, but he was left
having to deal with Messi dropping deep, whenever he wasn't picked up by Vidic, and
Xavi and Iniesta playing triangles around him, and only Giggs to help(hardly an
energetic player). He did switch Park and Giggs around which helped a bit, but then
Alves was left free in the left and created danger.

Rooney was trying, at the same time, to be in space whenever United regained the
ball AND to mark Busquets. In truth, he didn't do neither really well.

I don't know about Fletcher's fitness, but Man.U were desperate for a player like him
in midfield. He should have played instead of Giggs(who was poor) or Chicharito(a
gamble).

In the end, a lot of the media is praising Ferguson for sticking to his principles even
after 2009. Of course when Wenger does it, he's an idiot.

The first 20 minutes were somewhat promising, but as soon as the second half started it
was pretty much what I expected. I'm still happy with their season, but it definitely
wasn't the game I was hoping for.

PS- I loved Pujol in Whitesnake.

singing this at the champions league final (if the great man gets on)

Park, Park wherever you may be,
you eat dogs in your home country,
but it could be worse,
you could be 'scouse,
eating rats in your council house!

Does anybody know the titles of the Celtic songs that was playing in the background
during the Europa League 2011 Final prize ceremony last night ?

Really love the folk melodies, exactly my type of music. Am looking for the title and
artist/group if possible.

i think ManU win against Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final is more
epic... to score like that is the dying moments of the game, not one but TWO goals...

90:36 - Teddy Sheringham
92:17 - Ole Gunnar Solskj?

@Admiral_dk

i hear you mate... i hear you...:))

@LO_21 and Emma9

agree with both of you there... SAF is a legend.

Hopefully whoever that takes over is just as good as him if not better... i am thinking of
Jose Morinho... hehe....

Im glad that we dont have an owner like Roman. You cant just sake managers like that.
It just causes too much instability. This just proves that money cant buy you
everything... in another case, looks like Ancelloti is gonna also... i hope for his sake they
dont sack him...

True indeed. But as I pointed out earlier, he was literally one game away from
getting the sack, as he had gone the first four years without a trophy, and his team
were also struggling.

A defeat to Oxford City left them near the bottom of the table at one point.

Thus, credit should also go to the club's board and owners, who took a chance and
stood by him. He definitely would not have been around were someone like Roman
Abramovich or Mike Ashley be in charge.

Manchester Uniteds dominance is all down to one man. Sir Alex Ferguson.

The greatest living football manager in the game today. Without him, United would have
been just like the arsenals, chelseas and liverpools - good, but not brilliant.

The only interesting thing will be who you replace him with. All united supporters should
really pray he stays on for another 20 years!
