My opinion, SN, they have range ,firepower and reasonable armor, and I hear that they have great DB's,I personally havnt gotten that far, I have alot of fun playing SN SS's, tuff subs,good firepower and torp range.

I first player RN but range wasnt great, armor expensive

To be fair,I have not played MN at all, Rm I got up to CA( Heavy cruiser) and quit because NF will be "nerfing" the line. RM that I have played are not an armoring nation,the max dispalcement for most of the ships was not sufficient. I found that they had high powered guns that are fast and of long range,but like I allready mentioned,NF is planning to "turn down" the fire power and or range.

So to sum my answer up,MN I have no comment,RM ...I will wait and see what NF does to the line B4 I will invest time and Credits into them. 

Fighter CV - USN
Dive bomber CV - IJN or SN
Torpedo bomber CV - RN or RM

MN planes are all round average (with their fighters being above average) so if you can't decide take MN.

BB killer Sub - IJN
Sub killer sub - KM
All rounder sub - USN
Fast turning sub - MN
Odd sub - RN

As for BBs...

RM has the best BBs currently but they will get nuke nerfed in a year or two. 

USN Fighters are going to be nerfed.

RM is currently an OP line and is going to be hit by the nerfstick really hard really soon (Hopefully)

MN currently has issues with the damage of it's BB4, it's not that big of an issue, but it does exists.  MN ships are supposed to be fast and hit hard, they also have a really rusher-friendly configuration (Most cannons are at the front and they use quads) 

SN Is going to have one of it's high tier BBs (Can't remember if it was the Soyuz or the Stalingrad) Slightly nerfed. They have high damage and long range (Second only to KM) and also high angles that just cut through armor like a hot knife on butter. They are also fat, slow and have issues turning.

If you are intending to go CVs for DBs go with SN, they are the best BWs in game currently. For fighters, I suggest you to plan ahead and go with KM. The new nations don't really shine in the CV area, except for the SN for the reason mentioned above.

RM has torp damage that is on par if not better than IJN, but they are very very slow. They also have extremly good turning force and can turn on a dime.

I use SN CV, can't realy complain about it, only the fighters, but that's probably because i'm still low level.

Also SN have good guns, put in my point of view a high spread, which is a bit annoying.. But very high damage and range, compared to some other countries (i mostly play on RN or SN).

I been playing NF over 1 year and currently have three nations ships.

KM: is good for AA, but in BBs tier 4 and 5 there aren´t recc. ships, because they are too easy to sink and have low DMG/Shell related to other nations.
RN: Good nation to BB, can hold important damage a still sail. Particulary LVL75 guns, 4x14" have a superlative spread and makes ideal for support vessels chase (Rushing CA, CL and DD)
RM: Still level my crew, but as other people said is impressive. Will see what happend when this ships nerf.
