  • connection to server has been lost

this has happened to me about 8 times in a row , right after a huge lag 

computer specs :
cpu:
amd 965 3.4ghz
gpu:
amd 6950 2gb ddr5 
ram:
8gb DDR3
os:
 windows 7 64 bit

Internet provider : comcast 
speed: download: 10mb/s, upload:2.5mb/s


i did the ping check with  cmd here are my results

I see the problem.

Its not really on your end. I have comcast too (I live in Massachusetts so we go through the same general routing after the first couple)

Comcast likes to route you through that San Jose hop... which has always caused problems.

Yes and your ISP is needing to clean up the routing and you have P/L all thru the hops.

Also I note a Belkin router at your location, what model is it?

If you can connect direct to the modem and bypass the router and run the pathping again?

I would get rid of that belkin router if i was you....there horrible especially that model i had it and i trashed it within a month of getting it.


Well I dont want to dogpile but I have to agree the Belkins are not very good, I had to replace mine a
few weeks ago and I picked up a N750 belkin and after getting it setup I kept getting Lag and pauses
in game.
After several service calls we tracked the issue down to the router and I went and returned it and got a
Cisco/Linksys E4200 and poof all the issues went away

alright so ill complain/ get a new router

in this post i would like to thank everyone that helped and took there time to look at this post and help me deal with my problem
