As soon as a person enters a battle room with SS, the firing mode should be set to gradual. I forget a lot to set it to gradual and then screw myself in an SS on SS battle. This would make things a little easier.

How about dont forget... I never do, it turns into a habit after.. 3 or so battles.

Besides, there are situations where simul on a sub is useful. For example, if an HEI or a Gato gets a bb6 at the max torp range, you can bet your rear im going to want simul on to blast him.
