Does anyone know how fast the subs Dive/Crit?

It takes roughly 3-5 seconds I'd say, appearently it depends how fast you are going.

So Faster = Slower Dive//// Slower= Faster Dive or?

Yes that is correct. I'm not sure how huge of a difference it makes but the faster you are going the slower you dive.

2 seconds something to go complete critical dive mode.

Tested with 3rd party tools.

either way its not fast enough when they have hh that go off in what 2 seconds? death of a sub if they but simply aim decently.

i dont even use critical dive i just hit the oh and try and move out of the way. absorb the hit let the other guy dive when i launch one torp. wait for him to surface and hit him with cpl more = dead sub.

Its not that it doesnt work. Its that while submerged your going fast while u critical. Try slowing down as u ciritcal or going slow while u critical. I find that works for me. Ive NEVER seen it fail.

And (regarding Screenshot) using language like that in pub games isn't exactly helping anyone.

Prior to Hack**** I never saw it fail either. Now it fails repeatedly. I've had to stop taking screen shots because I'm wasting too much of my HD space on them (I run dual 1 TB drives for storage).

If navyFAIL Fails, I will call it on that. As far as my rants go, that one's fairly tame.

lol @ a 365k picture taking up too much space on two 1 TB HDs gimme a break

teh critical dive issue is that when your ship goes black, it can still be hit until it has reached to lowest possible depth

to fight against premium HH you just have to anticipate the enemy.... if you cant do that, might be best you be the one shooting the HH


**imo there should be depth control for subs and HH....more interesting to guess the depth of the sub and adjusting the HH to that depth... and for the sub able to travel at vaious depths to avoid HH...subs may be slower and not able to fire torps until near the surface**

my biggest peeve is friendly HH...with all the free HH people are killing thier own team...just because they want to kill the enemy sub...get a brain....let the freindly sub do its job on the offense...your job is defense and to take care of the enemy AFTER your sub dies...morons
