Hi Guys

Just watched a program which I watch in the uk called Diners, Drive-ins and Dives where this dude calls Guy travels America to find great eating joints.

In the episode I just watched he went to Oakland Raiders where Tailgating happens :-

I thought it was so cool !  No-body does this in Great Britian as far as I know.  Anyone do this ? or been to a Tailgating event  ? looks like a great party...

Yes. Tailgaiting is very common at football games. The Oakland Raiders are a NFL team in Oakland, California. Whenever I go to Redskins games, we usually tailgate. It's just part of the game experience.

Tailgating at a College Football Game is the greatest...I regularly attend Alabama games and the tailgating starts the day before the game and usually ends the day after.

All the tents are people cooking, drinking, listening to music ect.

If your hungry, there are hundreds of Tents that would welcome you in and feed you free...just be nice.

The stadium at Alabama has a capacity of 101k, there are easily 20k more there just to tailgate and watch the game on TV at the Quad.

Yes, very common in the US.  Its where everyone   MERGES
together before a sporting event or concert and     SERVES
each other food and alcohol.

Kinda like a SERVER MERGE.

Totally different things...

College football games definitely have better tailgating than Pro football. Just don't show up to one wearing the wrong jersey.
