USN:
Best fighters (they are better or equal at everything other fighters have).
Great TBs (they have no bonuses to bomber so it will take a while for them to become AAW resistant).
Low damage but fast DBs.

RN:
Worst fighters (pretty much worst at everything)
Best TBs.
Lowest damage DBs

MN:
Average at everything with over average fighters (probably second best after USN).

SN:
Good but slow fighters with higher than average firepower.
Worst TBs.
Slow but high damage DBs

IJN:
Weak but fast fighters with most fuel (tied with USN).
Average TBs
Second best DBs.

KM:
Slower then average fighters with high firepower.
Bad TBs.
Average DBs (very low fuel)

RM:
Fighters with high armor and DP.
Second best TBs.
Bad DBs

Personally i'd take MN as a first CV because they are good at everything and great with fighters.

so for fighter from the best to the worst : USN>MN>KM>SN>IJN>RM>RN

and for db : SN>IJN>MN>KM>US>RM>UK

tb: UK>RM>MN>IJN>US>KM>SN

is that correct?

I'd say RM fighters are better than IJN and SN but that's mostly due to the national +2 fighter bonus.

You got the DBs more or less right.

USN TB torps are better than IJN and MN but since the national CV bonus is +3 to fighters (2 from nation classing and 1 from special force classing) so while IJN and RN TBs become AAW resistant at more or less level 80 USN pilots have to wait till ~100 (assuming you have 11 bomber base and BVE TB pilots).

Also note that in tha case of bombers this is only a raw comparison between firepower.
The general rule with bombers (with some exeptions) is the more damage their bombs are capable of doing the slower is the plane carrying them.
UK DBs for example are the fastest but their bombs do the least damage while SN bombers are slower but hard hitting.

There are several exeptions tho.
For example RM DBs are slow and carry weak bombs.

in my personal experience

Fighters:

no way a MN ftr is best than KM or RM...

besides at low tier (T1-Locals > T2 > T3) km works best than any other nation... (of course US T4 cripple every other nation)

Fighers by nation: US > KM = RM > MN > IJN  > SN > UK

IJN will look crappy, but i have faced lvl 120 overvetted IJN Ftrs that can work real nice... but the cost to get there is quite high

SN and UK are not usable... they can't catch T5 scouts almost anytime, still SN are better than the crappy UK

Dive Bombers:

SN are quite fun and they can take a lot of punishment, IJN are almost as good, but they can't take any damage, wich they compensate with speed

Don't bother about nation's bonus... they will all cap at Lvl 85-90 (assuming +12 BVE)

DB by nation: SN > IJN > MN > KM (good damage low fuel) > USN > RM > UK

US is the last usable DB, they have average dmg but nice speed, besides they look like T2 ftrs lol

RM and UK are not ment to be used... just go for TB if you want to do nice damage

Torpedo Bombers:

UK finally don't suck at something... those TB are a boost, RM have more damage than US but the torp speed sucks and many targets will dodge your salvo

like DB, TB will cap at low lvl... 85-90 for any +12 BVE so don't think about nation bonus

TB by nation: UK > RM >= US > IJN = MN (quite usable due to high speed in fact) > KM > SN

RM extra damage compensates with better torpspeed by US

MN and IJN are quite usable even for TBW configurations as they have high speed TB and high speed torps so they compensate with the dmg loss compared to best nations

KM and SN are not usable at all, KM besides low dmg have range issues, but for hunting SS they are still better than crappy SN

No fighter can catch T5 scouts if the scout is being micro-managed.

Yeah but USN and IJN have an easier time when it comes to chasing T5 scouts since they seem to gain ground on them faster than KM SN or RN.

Here are the T5 Scout and T4 fighter speeds for nations
US:
Fighter: 660
Scout: 700
UK:
Fighter: 650
Scout: 690
IJN:
Fighter: 660
Scout: 700
KM:
Fighter: 650
Scout: 690
MN:
Fighter: 655
Scout: 695
SN:
Fighter: 658
Scout: 695
RM:
Fighter: 655
Scout: 664
So, for T4 fighter speed it goes US=IJN>SN>MN=RM>UK=KM
And for T5 scouts it goes US=IJN>MN=SN>UK=KM>RM
None of the T4 fighters are as fast as any T5 scouts, the closest is the US and IJN Fighters are both at 660 with the RM T5 scout at 664.

jotabe

T5 scouts launched in 1 plane or even 2 planes sq. are almost impossible to get with any Ftr, but when launched on bigger sq (something like 5 or 6 planes) they are somehow easy to get... of course it's almost impossible to get all of the planes, but you'll shure catch 2 or 3

i know speed tables, but when you are in battle some things just don't work like they should

PD: (boogie01 it's my secc account lol)

Send a scout and have T5s chase it in a straight line to see for yourself.
