I was going to start a CV nation but I'm not sure which one to choose. Can someone tell me which nation has good damage DB's but they are not slow, as well as they have moderate fighters.

Funnily enough, it was the thread beneath this one.

What should my CV crew have in it?

Depends on nation but the cookie cutter setup is 5-6 fighters and 2-3 (max 8 pilots) bombers along with 2 gunners and a Seaman.

Pick one type of aircraft and try sticking mostly to it so feel free to take 6 TBs and 2 FPs but don't mix Fighters dive bombers torb bombers and scouts on one ship as it will only make you bad at everything.

can you pls elaborate more why we can mix the db and the tb in one ship ?

as far i know, db offers damage and tb offers mobility.

Well you can but generally shouldn't because one way of dealing damage is enough.
It's almost like a BB that loaded guns in T slots with 5" guns to shoot at surfaced subs and FFs.

Another reason would be you would have fewer pilots for each type of plane which means waiting longer to prepare planes for launch.  If you read the forums, it's one of the things that pisses other players off.   The idea is to launch fewer planes on each pilot so they can get in the air faster.   It also allows you to be more versatile in their movement.

it also gives you a bigger reserve of the planes that you actually do have pilots for.
Because if you'd have to split your planes 3 ways, rather than 2,
the chance is big that at some point in battle some of your pilots will run out of planes to fly.

and most nations are only good at max 2 things cv- wise, so fielding the 3rd one would be a waste of lvling space.
