  • Regarding getting a new laptop to play NF...

Hi, I'm going to be (hopefully) looking for a new laptop this weekend. Can someone tell me the system requirements for NavyFIELD and what comp I should buy to play it on? Keep in mind I'm on a budget so nothing crazy expensive like alienware or that sort of thing... Just Best Buy or WalMart stuff at a good price please.

Just a BASIC computer nowadays should have atleast:
2.2 GHz Dual core processor
2GB of DDR3 RAM (That is a basic requirement, best is 4GB)
200GB Hard Drive (Don't buy SSD, they are super expensive)

A good choice is actually buying a laptop with the new line of AMD processors (Don't worry, new doesn't mean expensive here). The new processors typically start with A4, A6, or A8. All of these are good considering they have a decent graphics card BUILT IN to the processor.

All others are mostly add on.
If you can find a cheap one with a discrete graphics card, all the better.

NF really has low requirements. Trust me, any computer you buy today (As long as it's DECENT and not a $99 special at Wal-Mart or something.) should run NF. Maybe it won't run it with all the fancy machine gun bullets and explosions, but hey, if we were playing NF for graphics, SDE would have gone bankrupt long ago.
