hi i am wondering how people share their files if they have many computers

like in computer shops i see

i will use computer 5 (say for example the shop have 10 computers) to do typing documents and the owner will use his computer at the counter to print my file without me giving him the file in the flash disk.

he will open the file in his computer and the file is there

how to do this

Like a Wireless Media server? That how I do this at home. The Wireless router has a storage capacity of 1TB so I put movies, pictures, documents and what-not on it so I can't access it wirelessly on my Tablet, phone, Laptop, PS3 and Desktop.

he meant network sharing...

well its easy... you need to make your file be shared in your network by putting it in a shared folder... most computer already got a default share folder... if your computer/laptop doesn't have 1 or want to have your own just create a folder > properties > sharing tab > click share under network file and folder sharing...

then you should know all the IP address of all computer/laptop in your network and password if theres one...

to open the shared file on the other computer/laptop, simply push the flag button(lol) > run > enter ip address of the computer/laptop you want to get the file like this (\\192.168.1.1)

note if the computer your accessing is password protected, there will be a prompt up box appear that you need to fill in the other computer/laptop password and its computer/laptop name...

(sidenote: hope this help, i suck at explaining lol, you could google "how to network file and folder sharing" for more idea)

easy way to do it is to put all the computer on the same workgroup so wont have to remenber all the IP address on each computer.
