I have always thought that the planes disappearing when the ship sunk was dumb. Even though a CA/BB sinks, its scout can still help his side.

lol, with this game engine, come on think! Planes staying under control until they run out of fuel is teh best they can do.

It's fine as it is. You die, everything goes with you. They should do the same with escorts aswel. I also would like to see those escorts costing money again to commision.
