Could we please have a method for temporarily reducing the crew size of a sailor so that they may be placed on smaller vessels without so much sacrifice?

EXP gain of the sailor could be reduced as a result (Not all crew are participating)

This is especially an issue if someone has a large crew of experts and veterans, as there is no way to reduce those to fit on a smaller ship.
