WHY NELLY CANT EQUIP THE QUAD (L) GUN WHATS THE USE? CAN WE CHANGE IT.. LION 1 DONT NEED QUAD IF YOUR IN LION LVL.. NELLY NEED QUAD (L) PLS DO THE MATH TO CALLUCLATE AND CHANGE IT..

The Quads are POW guns.
Intended/historical setup for Prince of Walse: 2x14inch Quad guns+1x 14inch dual guns
Intended/historical setup for Nelson: 3x 16inch trips
Be happy that you can use the 14inch quad N guns on nelson. Anyways the Quads have good range but horrible spread making not really a good gunset.

There is no sense in what you write (OP).
Nelly either gets blockshotting quads (N) or good range triples (16"L)
The latter guns have the same range as the quads L (meaning POW range = Nelly range). Everything's fine.

Of course there 's sence in what ZigRay has written. I don't know when you joined NF, but 10 years ago, Nelly could mount 14*4 L. ZigRay was just asking to change it back. That's all. But the thing is...that's not gonna happen, otherwise the only ship you see in the sea is Nelly. xD

Not going to hapen mate, the Nelson regular set up is 3 x 3 x 16" Mark I L and doesnt have the gun space for the quads. The quad 14" Mark III Ls are for the Prince Of Wales (Remodeled from King George V), i think you took the wrong turn in the ship tree if your intention was to use the 14" Ls.

Yes the Nelson could use the Quad L's years back, but those guns have been renamed to the Quad N's. Today's Quad L's are nothing like the L's of old, they have far more range, but a lot worse spread.

There was the BB2/3/4 patch, I think, in 2008 that renamed the 14" quads. In this game, there never was a Nelly with 12 shells of POW range, basta.

Good for the 10 years back, but this is 2013 not 2003, after the BB2-3-4 patch went live most ship set ups were changed. The ships were rebalanced and made to fit their original/intentioned set up with some or other variation. As i stated before: Nelson's regular set up is 3 x 3 x 16" Mark I L and doesnt have the gun space for the quads. The quad 14" Mark III Ls are for the Prince Of Wales (Remodeled from King George V). If you want the Quad Ls, wait for the Vanguar/Lion 1 or use a ship tree reset to go for the Prince Of Wales at lvl 83.

Yeah the quad L's are bad. Giving poor spread to something that has bad damage to begin with is just dumb. It was only low because of its blockshot ability. Take that away, and????

I agree entirely.
That's why I used the Nelly 16" triples on my POW's larger R-slots. Same range as quads L, and same angle. Better spread, good damage.
