Hee hee hee. Legal of course! Waaaaaaay back when I was 13 about to turn 14 I took my novice license test. (morse code test) At that time you had to be minimum age 14 to hold a license, and only a Novice license at that. [No Talking]

I never persued ammetur radio due to the introduction of Citizens Band radio in the US.
