  • Torp bomb xp in WAW

I was talking to a mod about this today. I run 4 torp bombers and mainly FW a US CV.
So i get into a WAW room, lined up on the other side are people running FW setups. You get experience from damage in WAW not killing planes.
This as stated means if by some miricale my bomber wave does not get shot down. The ship maintains the vector you hit it and walk away with 8 attack. Buldge gone. Line up another set of bombers. By the time you get to hitting your second wave the person  you know has no buldge is dead or he has a brain and dodges. Yes very easilly done at 45+ knots.  

With this set up I get 3/4 bombing attempts a match. Now yes i have had ones where you get a good run and find some cluessless BB with no buldge who is not paying attention and get 45k attack in a single run.

My point is, it realies on so many factors to get any xp and the way the room is designed it has compelty removed a FW CV as a potential leveling tool for WAW. 

I am not sure what NF wants from us. I would love to see the stats of how many DB;s find there mark to TB;s and the damage comparison. Another good point was made that BB's caps are lifted. I assume the fighter cap is lifted for CV's but they deisgned the room so Fighters only hinder other cv's leveling.


I am hoping this a logical agrument, it might also be a rant.

Suggestions;

Incorperate fighter XP and xp for AA or ban them from the room/negative cred/xp modifer
Ships are faster, make the planes faster. Altenatively make the preperation time faster.
Make torp bombing more realiable, the closer you are the might chance they will hit, oh wait, the torp fails. Remove arming time.
Create a method that brings realiable auto torp bombing, they only way that works in WAW is if they are not looking currently.
Change this .2 belt torp damage reduction and just make it to reduce the spalsh damage. Buldge is for torpedos not belt.
Fighters have 5 tiers, TB's 2. Add a level of TB at around 102 that hold either a buldge penatrating torp or more damage.

In closing all the NF team need to do is look around and see that 80% of people DB. For a reason, TB's are too unreliable. Please compare active dogde rates of DB to TB. If you going to make them high risk, at least give them a high reward and not wiffed into buldge.

Most of your problems can be solved by playing better.

Bulge penetrating torp? Not going to happen.

Remove arming timing? Not going to happen.

Autobombing 'fix'? Use manual.

if you have the experience to play in WAW with TB you should have the experience to play manual TB in WAW. u need to learn what ships carry bulge and which ships dont, TB have best results when the ship has been shell damaged. flying in and manual TB will most times finish off a ship. there is no real instruction manual for this game other than what the indivudual player discovers in game play. as was in the world wars, what u discover and advance is the advantage you take to your enemy. loose lips sinks ships

who said that a fw cv wants much exp?

maybe they just want to farm some credits ;)
